Once the ground game got going the Texans held on to the ball like their life depended on it.

The only really upgrades I can think of, that are worth pursuing next offseason, are a young talented back and a Trent Williams like Guard. That play though by Larry Johnson was flat out pathetic. I'd like to see more from Keiland Williams. The guy is physically a beast and has little wear and tear on him. The main thing is we don't need to give up draft picks for VJax todays game proved that. Instead we need to invest on defense and maybe on a special Running back prospect.
That's a good summary Dirt. L. Johnson looked pretty old & CP did a couple of times too. When we were inside the 10 in the 4th CP got outside to the left but couldn't keep his balance and/or kick it up a notch to get to the edge. A young CP would've had the 1st IMO. Instead we had 3rd & 1, false start for 3rd & 6, then a blocked FG.

Not saying CP is done, he is still a big contributor, but a young rb is needed. If Williams is that guy, cool.

Yes, our team needs to draft well and often in the next couple years. We can't give away any more draft picks. We need oline and dline help along w/ RB and WR big time. We're already short in next years draft although we got McNabb.

Not just draft well. Given our lost picks, Allan needs to earn his paycheck by finding some quality UDFAs.

Eh, I'd say QB> O-Line > Front 5 (for the 3-4) > Safety's > RB's > ILB's > WR's > Corners

Though it was amazing seeing the difference in protection when Heyer was out there verses when Trent was out there.

Vinny on the other hand

Pass Catchers > QB's > Corners > Safety's > D-Lineman with pretty stats > Linebackers with pretty stats > RB's > Linebackers without pretty stats > D-Lineman without pretty stats > Hot dog vendors > hookers > cheerleaders > O-Line

If I look ahead to the 2011 draft I would say we will be tradeing out of the 1st rd in order to pick up more draft picks IMO.
