Re: Washington Capitals 2010-2011 ongoing thread
Can we please get rid of Bodreau. This is getting ridiculous. Something needs to be done.

McNabb benched, Fridge gone, Arenas gone. All the Caps should sleep with one eye open

I'm giddy for joy at the suffering that this gilded team is being exposed for what it is: a mediocre hockey team.

Seriously. Thing is, we started losing when the HBO cameras showed up. Stop pressing, play your game.

Finally....thanks for doing your job. It's very much appreciated!
Posted at 10:04 PM ET, 12/19/2010 Caps end losing streak against Senators, 3-2 By Lindsay Applebaum The Capitals scored three goals in the second period after falling behind 2-0 to finally snap an eight-game skid, beating the Ottawa Senators, 3-2, at Scotiabank Place. Mathieu Perreault scored twice and Eric Fehr added a goal and an assist to help Washington collect its first victory since Dec. 1. Coach Bruce Boudreau, who is no doubt breathing a sigh of relief tonight, chest-bumped his assistants in celebration as the Caps left the ice. Re: Washington Capitals 2010-2011 ongoing thread
I was pretty happy the Caps finally won. Honestly I'm glad this streak came now instead of later in the season, I think as the season goes on they will start playing better. I'm just glad it's finally over, I think during this whole thing it weighed on their heads tremendously along with the HBO cameras and now that it's over they'll be able to focus better and get back to playing good.

Re: Washington Capitals 2010-2011 ongoing thread
That was CAPS hockey from the third and fourth lines. The first and second lines are still dragging ass, they have to pick it up!
You can not put all the work and Offense on the Crash lines, thats kinda bass akwards. Ovi is working hard with little to nothing to show for it. Nicky Back is playing like shit. Semin just getting back, we shall see. Yes nice to start getting back on track but the players that need to be on track aren't and need to get there quickly. Neuvy solid between the pipes and building confidence, and thats good news. He made some big saves tonight when the game was tied at 1-1 Thursday, have to beat down the shit birds and this offense has to start getting it together. We need production from the top three. OVI, SEMIN, NICK! LETS GO CAPS!!!!!

Atlanta loss to. Never would have guessed we would have had to worry about them so soon.

Great stuff. Can't wait till next game! Three in a row would ease the pain a bit.

Re: Washington Capitals 2010-2011 ongoing thread
Whoever scheduled the Caps to play the Pens 9 days before they meet again at the Winter Classic is an idiot. Basically the equivalent of a kid opening a present 9 days before Christmas.
