yeah i would not be surprised at all if he is the most held player in the first four weeks of the season. that would be a great stat if anyone could find that.

Its McNabb just because he did just enough to beat his old team and this game was all about him and the Eagles.

The positive: I'm 100% positive they coat Carlos Rogers hands with grease before each game.

Not sure why my 'We got lucky' post was construed by so many as being negative.

To put it into context.

While most were berating the collapse against the Texans, my opinion was that we just didn't get the breaks in that game which we did against the Eagles.

Still think the Texans game was by far our best performance so far.

- Defense - still not perfect but BIG improvement.

- Portis - looks great this year, best he's looked since Gibbs II. He's even making cuts in the open field without falling down.

- McNabb - definitely not a perfect game but just wanted to give some props. I think he's played great this year, better than expected even. I never realized how bad Campbell was 'til I saw a real QB in action. What a difference.

Re: Redskins vs. Eagles Game - Positives

The two headed monster in the running game is a real plus. It makes it so Portis can stay fresh and so Torain isn't forced to take on too much at once.

Defense did very well preventing the big Play once Vick was knocked out of the game. It would have been interesting to see how they would have done if Vick was able to return. The run D was stout and the secondary forced everything underneath. Very impressed.

Bidwell, was and is bad. Eventually the field position game will kill us. This needs to be addressed soon.

Other then that, it is good to 2-2 considering we haven't played our best football yet. 2-0 in division is huge too. Another big test this week when Aaron Rodgers comes to town...

Watching Hall and Moore make a Vick sandwich.

The bar erupted during the replay of that hit, the fans there were happy to get Vick out of the game.

No, you make your own breaks. Block Pollard or drill it through the uprights. They didn't make the plays. Football is all about making plays or helping to make plays that win the game.

That said, all of our games except for the Cowboys games could have been blowouts, but this team still doesn't have what it takes to actually pull off blowouts.

Playing physical defense. Besides hurting Vick, McCoy suffered a broken rib and other Eagles were sent to the Infirmary.

You should have included that context earlier.

Re: Redskins vs. Eagles Game - Positives

It time to give Haslett some credit, I was dogging him...but last week, he adjusted to a bunch of 4 man fronts....this week...he did the same with selective blitzing again....it worked again...I am so glad he has adjusted...I really thought his apparant heavy commitment to the 3-4 and radical blitzing was completly inflexible the first 3 weeks. Wow...great to see Chris Wilson, Alexander, Philip Daniels all playing their appropriate roles...I think Haslett is starting to understand the talents of his individual role players...and that is a MASSIVE development.

I agree. I was one that was critical of Haslett and what our defense was doing. But some of the criticism was deserved. He was really slow at benching Carter when he looked awful all preseason. I want to see more of Wilson at Left OLB. He is a great player. Daniels made a couple of big plays today.
Our nickle package continues to give up big plays and is very weak at stopping the run. Some changes need to made in that lineup.
