Jared Veldheer

I said he never gave up a sack in college

Your smartass self said that you've 'seen' him give up a sack. Apparently you don't know what a sack is cause he never gave one up in college.

Fastforward to draft day raiders pick him Kiper says 'he never allowed a sack in college'

fastforward some more and Veldheer got a probowl alternate nod and recognition from other writers all of who bringing up that he never allowed a sack in college.

Dear lord.

With every post you are just further embarrassing yourself. I want to say things a lot harsher than this, but I'm practicing self restraint. You should too.

You're the same person that was rooting against the Skins for the PAST two years around midseason. The Skins still had to give up a lot to get their QB and without tanking games like you wanted.

Im not saying your wrong or right but to use Kiper as your backing does not help your cause.

Is this the same Mel Kiper that said Jimmy Clausen was gonna go in the top 5?

Well, you're on a torrid pace. At this rate, you'll be right again in 2014!

That was actually specifically for you (the veldheer thing) cause that always stuck in the back of my mind and I was going to politely bring that up to you on a draft board but like I said I'm so amped right now I'm jumping around like a kid at christmas that we got griffin. Predicting the NFL is 50-50. I think we all can go on this board and point out the he's right/you're rights about so many subjects.

Re: What is the 2nd overall pick worth?
I'm telling you all the final trade will probably be

2012 1st
2012 2nd
2012 4th
2013 1st
2013 3rd

It's going to be a lot. Unlike the Manning for Rivers trade, there was only 1 team interested, the Giants. This year we have at least 3, Us, Cleveland, and Miami. = Price goes up.

Stupid. You just traded away 3 badly needed starters for one. What happened through getting more picks like NE and building steadily. This kid isn't a Manning or Elway or Luck type out of college. He is a very good QB no less, but played in a weakend Big 12 that happens to be defensively deficient most of the time. Snyder has done it again, got the fans snagged on the hot sexy pick, hoping it will pan out. I think BA and Shanny are feeling the heat so they went against the plan to save their asses. I like RG III a lot, but 3 first rounders for a still unproven commodity at the NFL level is not wise.

I don't sense anyone in this thread is particularly happy with this trade. Even the ones who are going to by an RG3 jersey first thing Monday are doing so out of loyalty to the team, not because they think this is inspired.

I agree. Someone else in this draft or in free agency is going to turn out to be a better QB and the team who didn't give everything up to get that QB will be more successful. Flynn, Tannehill, Weeden, Cousins, etc. Do we even know Cleveland was a threat? If they got Flynn, we would have been in the driver's seat. This seems like a move of the previous regime. Competing against themselves.

I disagree. I think Cleveland had legit interest, which definitely helped drive the price up. I just hope it's not confirmed that the 2nd round pick is included in the deal, we could really use that pick to help RG3 out this year.

This is wild. I'm excited but that is more than I hoped we'd give up. Here's to hoping our late round drafting is lights out.

Well, no need to watch the draft this year after #2...and the first round for 2013 and 2014.
