When you watch a game, do you ever have a feel for the game like "I don't see this team winning" or "Theres no way the other team is coming back we got this" or "I don't see us winning"? I had that feeling today when I was watching the Broncos game, our game, our game against the rams, watching the Bears beat up the cowboys, to name a few recent games. I just felt like once RG3 got hurt it just solidified the fact that we weren't going to win the game, and thats why I said with him in there, we probably wouldn't have won from what I saw for 3 quarters (yes, I'll give it to you that he plays his best in the 4th quarter) from our team, Atlanta had a plan and did it well. This is a done subject. On to Minnesota, whom I think we'll beat IF RG3s playing.

Re: Falcons at Redskins Post Game Thoughts
I was at the game and it was very close until RG3 got hurt. I think that event deflated the team.
I really hope Shanny cuts Cundiff and signs Rackers plus Merriman. We need someone on the front 7 to command attention and free Kerrigan to make plays. He can be in a rotation with Jackson and Wilson.

Re: Falcons at Redskins Post Game Thoughts
Shanahan is not as good as people think. I think he needs replacing, but after this season of course. But that being said, he has done some good, namely RG3, Kerrigan, AlMo and Bowen, along with giving Perry Riley a shot to become a great player, which I believe he will be, and soon. But it just seems that Mike doesn't surround himself with the type of staff that is solid. I have said this before, but the game might have passed him by a bit, because in 14 calander years, I believe that an NFL head coach with his "history" should have had more than 1 playoff win. The defense is offensive, but there is hope with RG3. Its funny that the one game he quits using him as a second running back is the game he gets the shit knocked out of him, and gets knocked out of the game. That lad needs to know the situation, and understand that the extra two yards he got on that scramble was not worth that hit. Especially when you are trying to get an extra few yards for billy cundiff, who is gonna fvck it up no matter where the ball is on the field, 25 yards away or 55.

I don't know why everyone is hating on Shanahan.

If only they had the offseason to get into a groove together.
Damn Cundiff is full of excuses.

Re: Falcons at Redskins Post Game Thoughts
Some of you guys are great sometimes. Honestly the D did fairly well at times today and gave the offense a chance to win. RG III could very well have won this game.
The defense now has three touchdowns this year. This team can win now if it would stay healthy. Why are guys now saying Garçon sucks when after the Saints game he was the next big thing? Fellas this team is very young and will be adding more youth next year. When Shanny said this deal would take five years well.. It's going to take five years. Adding youth and developing the talent. Doesn't happen overnight. I will say this one more time as it pertains to the Falcons they won against playing our fourth round rookie in crunch time. Till then we had the game under control. BTW Morris continues to impress the hell out of me, and Grant after he shakes off some rust will be a nice spell back for AM.

so I got home watched a bit and cundiff is just awful, wtf man?? Griff needs to learn how to throw the ball away, Morris looks really good, oline did a OK job , Wrs still aren't doing much, defense did a solid job. Kerrigan is amazing, Jenkins looked good.
Pretty much I think we win with griff in the 4 quarter but shit happens. This team isn't a playoff team anyway and Atlanta is just better. I still see 7-8 wins. As for some who have asked if Mike is going to be on the hot seat? I still think he's here one more year for sure.

Re: Falcons at Redskins Post Game Thoughts
If the skins fire Shanahan, the guy they should hire is Greg Roman the OC for the 49ers.

Re: Falcons at Redskins Post Game Thoughts
It wasn't our defense stopping anyone.. It was Matt Ryan playing bad guys.
80% of the Warpath predicted us to lose this week, and then write paragraphs of how the world is crumbling, and our coaching staff sucks, our Dline is weak, we are 0-5, we have a QB that runs to much, but now he doesnt run enough, I love kit kats, Garcon can't get open, Fred Davis is overrated, Morris is a scheme style runner only, Danny Smith missed 5 FG's this year, we need to CUT GANO NOW, and we need to CUT CUNDIFF NOW AND RESIGN GANO! Skins are the worse team ever, but we should win every game, and i predict a 8-8 season, but WHY ARE WE WINNING GAMES!? SUCK FOR LUCK 2! So glad we got Griffin because he's a MVP, and why WASTE A 6TH ROUND DRAFT PICK ON A RB FROM FA!?, Morris for RotY! That's basically what it's like reading the Warpath on a daily basis. I wish there was a ignore option because then I would actually be able to have realistic conversations with a select few that are here..Smoot, Tripp, etc.. Oh, and everyone has Kyle's number on offense. It's the main reason why we score 30 points a game. Kyle doesn't even call plays. What really happens on scoring drives is RG3 writes plays in Polumbus's helmet with a sharpie since it's the only thing Polumbus is good for. Obviously, he doesn't block!!!

- Brought in TW - Brought in Morris - Got RG3 - Got Kerrigan - Resigned Fletcher and the list goes on.... In a perfect world we would win every game, and the Redskins would win the Super Bowl every day.
