Re: Skins cowboys postgame

Just very disappointing to watch this team this season. I didn't really believe we would be a great team but 9-7 I thought was a sure bet and there is no chance we even win 8 games

We will go on an 8-3 run, finish 9-7, sneak into the playoffs, and make it to the NFC championship game.

Like a constipated logger taking laxatives, we've just been getting the poop out of us before we go to work.

Hated we lost to the cowgirls but I was expecting a 70% chance we weren’t going to win that one the way we’ve been playing and considering how the cowboys looked against Denver last week. I gotta say the Defense looked better but it’s pretty much impossible to win on field goals alone. The D mostly did their part last night but the offence wouldn’t step up and put points on the board. As others have said in this post, it looks like either the Mike has quit on the team, they’ve quit on him or both.

Re: Skins cowboys postgame

Sad day when HC, OC, ST all need to be fired. This team could have been 1-4 or even better with Kirk. Is RG3 over hyped or did shanahan just ruin the only chance to win?
What idiot takes a Ferrari off roading?

I'm stripping shanahan of president authority and if that's not possible, fire him and junior. What a dumbass for drafting Kirk and not using him last season to finish the regular season- would have tested Robert and we would have won a Super Bowl, and what an idiot for not starting or playing Kirk weeks 1-4.

Shanahan can't even go into a tanning bed w/o being burnt to a crisp, and he has burned our franchise and brought in junior. The nfl shouldn't be bring your son to work day.

Man, do we wish we still had Lorenzo Alexander. That $18 million penalty is till hurting us.

Also, is it just me? Or do the rest of you wonder why all of our kick off return guys want to bring it out from 8 yards deep only to get to the 13 yard line???????

Isn't there an unwritten rule that if you are more than 3 or 4 yards deep you take a knee?

He wouldn't have done squat for us, he's been on IR for a couple weeks now. Done for the year.

No its not just you, thats another special team coaching problem.I would have specific instructions,if the ball is more than 3 ft deep, dont bring it out!! or expect a fine
I was so grateful when the kickoff would be so deep or out that they werent tempted to bring it out
Also I would have Moss returning punts and I would give Aldrick Robinson a chance at kickoffs,at least he has the speed to go somewhere with it

When it's all 3 aspects of the team that are bad that goes to Coaching period.

Special teams really blew it. Can't blame the D they held Romo in check.

Re: Skins cowboys postgame

I think what pissed me off the most is here we are down 14 or 15 points well in the 4th q....and we're huddling. Why? How many damn times have we seen this under Shanahan? Here we have a coach who is almost the highest paid in the league and he can't run no huddle? He can't manage the clock? He's not calling the plays so what is he doing? WTF is that all about? I hate to blow it up, I think Mike gets one more year but he needs to fire his son.

Yeah man. For me it goes back earlier. I play the clock and not the score- dont panic. But if we give up an opening drive TD, we can't always begin games trailing. Mathematically we can't give up 7 and score 3 and expect to win.
Shanahan has no urgency until its the 4th qtr last possession. Why can't we be a team that wants to f'kn play with leads and defend it until the final whistle? Losing is unacceptable to us, but tolerable to shanahan. I would be going no huddle until we are back in ball games.

Huddling up in the 4thqtr is pointless. I was just hoping they would run the clock out b/c why are they pretending to care to win and prolong a loss? Just run the clock out and take your after tan lotions the f'k back to VA.

What makes Shanahan's lack of urgency and poor clock management even more egregious is that the offense has been at its most effective in the no huddle this season.

Why should Mike get one more year? We've seen what he has to offer and it isn't good enough for him to continue as HC. I hated the idea of blowing it up when I still felt that he was the right man for the job. I no longer feel that way. Now I hate that he is getting one more minute as HC.
