Re: Pick Your Next Redskins Head Coach
He was let go after the Childress season by Frazier. I think he's a decent coordinator but nothing about him screams head coach to me.

Re: Pick Your Next Redskins Head Coach
Well being able to "throw" isn't about being a good QB. My concern is that because RG3 is not "pro ready" he'll be impatient and want a guy that fits his system better. Just something to look out for. I'm sure Jay and Jon share opinions.

Well then he won't be the HC if that's the case, Griffin isn't going anywhere

Re: Pick Your Next Redskins Head Coach
So Gruden is going to want to stick with another Dalton type of QB? Decent/good arm, limited mobility, throws too many picks.
Yeah something tells me he might be eager to get away from that type. Last edited by MTK; 01-07-2014 at 10:07 AM. |

I just want someone (here again, Bevell) who is going to come in embracing what we have and already having a system in place to take advantage of our talent. |

Re: Pick Your Next Redskins Head Coach
I think we're getting a little ahead of things. Gruden hasn't even interviewed, and we really don't know what his plan would be.
I can say this though, I'm fairly certain a big part of the interview process involves what the plan is going to be to develop Griffin and get the most out of him. |

Re: Pick Your Next Redskins Head Coach
How about Jimbo Fisher? He's a great HC, and Snyder needs to give him an offer he won't refuse. Florida State has a good offense led by a great quarterback, and a great defense. Fisher is good with quarterbacks, has won two national championships, and is fairly young.

Re: Pick Your Next Redskins Head Coach
I'm actually a bit surprised I am not the only James Franklin vote.
Honestly, I'd be fine with 2/3 of this list. The no one will take this job arguments are a bit silly.

Re: Pick Your Next Redskins Head Coach
Out of those choices, best offensive system for RG3?
