Re: Sons of Anarchy Season 7
I would break down the options like this:
A. Jax accepts his fate and convinces the club to vote mayhem, all the other SOA clubs do the same, and Jax dies the way Jury did. B. Jax plans his death so he dies like John Teller, he goes out riding JT's bike and has an "accident" where he dies in a more desirable way than being outed as a murderer by his own club. C. The clubs for some strange, odd reason don't vote for mayhem and Jax goes the season 7 equivalent of nomad, takes his boys out of the game and goes to live on the farm with Nero and Wendy. D. Clubs vote mayhem and Jax runs like a scared little girl (least likely option imo as he'd probably still die) I'm still leaning towards Jax dies. |

Re: Sons of Anarchy Season 7
F Unser, I didn't care at all about him getting killed.
So what's up with Jax limping at the start of the episode? |

Re: Sons of Anarchy Season 7
Good question.
Is the show just going to play out or is there going to be a big twist at the end? I just don't see Jax dying and leaving those boys abandoned. |

Re: Sons of Anarchy Season 7
They gotta be setting something up. Between Jax's limp, Nero going to the garage, there's a whole bunch of things that wouldn't make sense if they were just trying to kill time. There's always a twist with this show.

Re: Sons of Anarchy Season 7
Yeah, I'm completely befuddled by why Jax is limping. And it's funny how I tend to forget a lot of details about past seasons. I had forgotten all about Jax shooting Wendy up with drugs. Didn't that just happen last season?
I'd hate to think Jax dies, but I don't see how he can continue to live. I do like the idea of allowing him to die like Teller. Basically, on his own terms. I just wonder what the final scene is going to be? Here's what I'm thinking. Jax's death won't be the final scene. The final scene will be Jax's cuts being sent to the farm where his boys will now be raised. And Abel will open the box and hold up his daddy's cuts, and then it goes black. It will make you wonder if Abel grows up to lead a new generation of Sons.

Re: Sons of Anarchy Season 7
Juices final scene hit me really hard.
The MC was his life but he got tired of taking it in the ass and just wanted it to end. Thats exactly how I feel about these damn Redskins! Make the ass rape end The expression on his face in the final scene is basically what i look like every sunday. not even mad anymore. |

How about that cameo by Michael Chiklis? Nice nod to the past.

Re: Sons of Anarchy Season 7
Ugh that ending was weak. I feel so unfulfilled.
Maybe it's me. But that shit wrapped up too nicely and then parts of it didn't even wrap up. God damnit. I'm so anxious. lol

Re: Sons of Anarchy Season 7
I felt like they didn't leave a lot of loose ends. The ending was a little too straightforward for me, there were a couple twists here and there but even after Happy got shot I felt like there was no way Jax lives. The moves he made basically said, "I'm going to take care of a bunch of shit and then accept my fate, that way the club can move forward without blowback." As far as endings go it wasn't amazing, but I felt they wrapped things up efficiently.

Also if you look at past season's, she makes an appearance in episodes where major characters in Jax's life have died (Tara, Gemma, Opie)

Re: Sons of Anarchy Season 7
After thinking about it I think the finale was pretty good. In all reality Sutter ended it the only way he could without ruining the show. The big episode was the penultimate one and this one just had to tie everything up without doing crazy crap like sending him to be a lumberjack or something. He wrapped it up and ended it like it needed. It wasn't flashy and there wasn't some ill-conceived grand scheme to realign the philosophy of the show. It just ended.
