The worst moment IMO when one of the reporters asked Godell, "How is that one phone call from us got us the elevator video. You have a team of lawyers and staff and nobody could get teh video?"
His reply was awful. It was combative and wrong.

No doubt about that. In regards to Goodell, the guy was already leaning towards making a bad decision. The Ravens brass banging the table in favor of Rice was the ever so slight push needed to seal the horrid initial 2 game suspension.

Still you can't have it both ways. You can't talk about during the pre-draft process how teams have these super elite private detectives that know everything about players and at the same time claim you never saw the tape, or at least didn't hear about it. Especially since the recent tape was referred to in the news well before it was leaked.

Report: Police Have Video Of Ray Rice Knocking Fiance Unconscious

According to Sports Illustrated's Robert Klemko, police have surveillance video of Ravens running back Ray Rice allegedly striking fiancée Janay Palmer at Revel Casino in Atlantic City on Saturday.

Also in case anyone had any doubts that lawyers are full of it [no offense to our resident lawyer]:

Rice's lawyer said this video only shows part of the incident:

"The video that has been put up by TMZ shows the very end of what transpired between Ray and his fiancee. We are confident that by the time all of the facts are in the open, the public will have a complete and true picture of what actually transpired, and we just ask that the public remember what a high-character, good person Ray is, and that they reserve judgment until all the facts are out."
