Re: Our Secondary
So did Champ completely burned a bridge when he left the Redskins?
https://www.facebook.com/AdamSchefte...24696764249633 If not, I wouldn't mind seeing him at FS.

Re: Our Secondary
I'm somewhat surprised that their haven't been any vets brought in to workout. I'd give Champ a shot, hell, at this point I'd give anyone a shot.

Re: Our Secondary
The Peyton thing, supposed insiders were saying while it happened. (I didn't believe it at the time, this was when Peyton was a FA, with an uncertain future with neck injury.). The Foles thing, though? I could be wrong but sounds like revisionist history, along with rumors we would have picked Russel Wilson instead of Cousins if we could have. It just seems too convenient to look with hindsight and say "we actually wanted THAT player."
Edit: I am wrong about the Foles rumors being revisionist history. Smootsmack is da man. Last edited by HailGreen28; 09-25-2014 at 01:46 PM. |

Neither to start, but to develop

Re: Our Secondary
Bumping old thread about secondary.. Any updates on Phillip Thomas? Is he done after only one year? There was a lot of hype last year, and then even in the spring, so when we released him & no one picked him up & landed on practice squad -- I'm assuming he's still not impressed / is still injured / or just plain sucks...?
And what the heck is going on with Tracy Porter. What a waste.. |

Re: Our Secondary
I think Thomas will be called up very soon. Maybe after the bye. I don't know for sure but from what I've been told he's totally healthy and they're close to calling him up

Re: Our Secondary
Awesome. It would be great to see him on the field to stay.

Re: Our Secondary
Amazing how much the secondary has struggled without Hall to cover the #1 wr. Hoping he makes a full recovery but his age probably means it'll be tough for Hall to return to form. Our secondary is weak. But it could be fixed in a year, look at what denver did.
