Re: NFL Free Agency 2016
They can't offer him jack shit now since he's signed his contract. He's exclusively ours for the season.

Re: NFL Free Agency 2016
Given that next years tag cost for him will be 24M, (120% of 20M) I think if we can get a long term deal done by Jul 15th, it's worth it. Problem with making a player play on a prove it deal, is if they do, then you are paying the high side of the high side, a la Joe Flacco and the Ravens. A reasonable long term deal that both sides see as a win would be the best solution.

Re: NFL Free Agency 2016
I would just like to say I'm so glad we're past what the Giants and Jags are doing. We're long past that shit. Big spenders in free agency is for suckers. It's like buying a sports car with 100k miles on it.

They have no idea what they're talking about. KC already signed his deal.

Re: NFL Free Agency 2016
I really wonder if Peyton gonna answer the phone if he sees elways number pop up.
Let's be honest, horse tooth jackass completely thought nobody we be so stupid as the Houston Texas and osweiler would return. Horse tooth can seriously think rg3 or kap is leading this team anywhere. Fitz could be an option... Would Peyton say yes to a cap friendly 1 year deal? I think he would

A solid article summarizing how today completed boned the rest of the sane NFL teams that actually have good players worth paying.

Re: NFL Free Agency 2016
If they weren't willing to pay Brock 18mil/yr, I seriously doubt they would pay Bradford that either.

Re: NFL Free Agency 2016
the problem with moving bradford is the guaranteed money doesn't get traded, so the eagles would be paying him to play somewhere else (depending on the type of guarantee, roster bonuses that convert to guaranteed money at X date would move, for example).
even if they redid the contract, i believe players can't give money back (cause lavar), so i think it'd be a hard move to make. I don't know the specifics of his contract though. |
