Nothing changes
It can't be fixed under Gruden and Manusky.

The one good example of "It's Coaching" is the 49ers from 2010 to 2011. They went from 6-10 to 13-3 without significant roster changes. They got head coach Jim Harbaugh and a new staff. Defense went from 16th to 2nd by canning Manusky and replacing him with Fangio. Offense went from 24th to 11th replacing Raye with Roman.

I know this sounds crazy.. here goes ..jay and the whole crew gets axed and we end up with the worse record in nfl .. number one pick .. new GM and coach can’t resist Tua .. we take him and trade Haskins for a number one and reboot .. I know you guys think that’s crazy but I could happen ...😀

That already happened in Arizona, except they got a #2 for Rosen instead of a #1. As a UCLA fan I was never impressed with Rosen, but you have to feel bad for the guy. He gets picked by the worst team in the league, which happens with QBs, but then is kicked to the gutter in one year and traded to the new worst team that may go 0-16.

I'll be honest I laughed at the predictions of 3-13 or 4-12 from the media but clearly they were right

I thought they were crazy too, kept thinking "well if we can go 7-9 last two years with a boatload of injuries we should at least do the same or better if we can stay healthy."

The way we play reeks of Jay losing the locker room. Not sure Manusky ever had the confidence of the locker room in the first place.

In numerology, that can mean 13-3.
They're right, you're just reading it backwards.

I was fooled by all that good defense talk, but now that I've seen the light we will be lucky to win three games-Miami-The Jets-maybe steal one from the Giants, that's about it for this lost season.

It doesn’t matter how much talent we have. If poorly coached you just can’t win. Eventually the players start to play SOFT and it all goes south. The Dolphins are there - they’ve given up and sunk. Don’t be fooled, we’re not far behind them. Players like Scherff are getting “injured” because he knows he’ll be on another team next year. Others will follow.

What's your evidence for that?

Scherff has played through numerous, bad injuries throughout his college and pro career.

He has been recognized by every coach he has played for since Iowa as unbelievably tough, even playing the same week as having a surgical procedure on his knee in college.

If word got out that he was faking an injury, (which is contrary to his entire football playing history) it would arguably hurt his market value more than being dinged up after the season.

The Redskins had the most injured players that last TWO SEASONS. Partly due to poor conditioning and soft practices. But one also suspects that some players use the opportunity of a losing season, on a losing franchise to perhaps “exaggerate injuries to save themselves for next season”. Agreed that Scherff is tough and plays hurt. I withdraw my statement about Scherff, but still submit that some players will use the closing culture of this Redskins to exaggerate injuries.

BTW, Callahan is having players doing post-practice sprints to toughen then up!

Which players would sprints toughen up the most?

Re: Skins Wins - predictions go here

This team will go winless as long as Gruden and Manusky are in as coaches.

If Gruden is replaced by O’Connell and they can get a good DC to replaced Manusky, then the team may win a couple. The hard part is enticing a good EXTERNAL DC to come here under these conditions (I.e., Snyder, Allen, long history of buffoonery, etc). Easier to do if Allen is replaced.
