Week 2 Loss - Post Thoughts Here
I like the idea of a new DC from within - like Tomsula RIGHT NOW. Only when properly coached can we see who’s really playing well and who needs to be dumped next year. The poor coaching is masking who is playing well or not. Except with obvious losers like Van Norman or Moses.
The Redskins need to seriously look at EVERY SINGLE free agent and fire all but the very best at the end of the year. We’ll have cap dead space for a year or two but in a year or two we’ll have money to get talent. Time for a YOUTH MOVEMENT. We are in a two- year REBUILDING WINDOW. Gruden’s last year and the NEW HC and staff first year. Total housecleaning of old guys, expensive guys based on this and next years performance. We should be benching guys like Richardson and replacing him with Steve Sims or Robert Davis or Harmon to see who can fill his shoes NOW OR DO BETTER, when he is gone next year. It is time to bring in new rookies and get them playing time, even if they make mistakes. I mean someone on the team or on waivers has got to be better than Moses - he just sucks! Keenum is ALL “Junk time” stats. He is missing many passes when it matters and can change the game. Missed two wide open TD passes. I don’t care if he has a scoring drive in last 4 minutes of a game when we’re 17 points behind. He is inconsistent and not an NFL starting level QB. Bring in the future now and start Haskins immediately , even with Moses playing terrible at RT. If we leave in Case and go 5-11 WHAT HAS HASKINS LEARNED? How to lose and pad your stats with junk time stats that make you appear far better than you are? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Re: Week 2 Loss - Post Thoughts Here
I think apathy has set in for me. I watched the game today and did not say one word the entire time. No yelling, no cursing. I turned it off before it ended to watch Baltimore/ Cards.
As far as the game, Case is really hanging in there considering the circumstances. But he is who he is and we will never win with him. But I feel like if they put Haskins in then the offense, which is barely holding it's head above water, may go in the tank with more sacks, fumbles and ints. And with the way the defense is playing I don't think anyone wants that. It would be unbearable. I would get Haskins mop up duty for now. The D is pitiful. Move on from Manusky. He can't scheme or motivate. Once and if we get healthy in the secondary I'd sit Norman down. He's slow and can't even cover 50 year old Witten. Go with these young guys and see what you got. Stop messing around with guys like DRC. Whomever decided to sign him should be out of the NFL. But basically their o-line broke our will. The better team clearly was Dallas. |

They are 0-2, just as most expected they would be. I think they'll win 2 of the next 3 if they get some key dudes back, Allen, Dunbar, Moreau, Reed... 2-3 after the first five would be ok. However, if it's 1-4 or 0-5, then I want to see some changes...Haskins under center, Manusky out the door, O'Connell calling the plays.

Re: Week 2 Loss - Post Thoughts Here
We’ll be lucky to be 1-4 after five games. If we lose to a crap Giants team the Redskins nay implode.
I’m wondering if so many hurt players is guys either super-soft with Gruden ball OR players really don’t want to play here. Could be either. Not a good football team. Keenum is all garbage time stats. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Re: Week 2 Loss - Post Thoughts Here
The Bears aren't looking good either so that game could be winnable but since its Jay on MNF we will lose. He's just a bad HC no other way around it. He may be a nice guy and a players guy but that shit isnt working

Gruden and Manusky aren't good coaches. There is plenty of talent on the defense, even with Allen out, to do much better than 60+ points. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

Re: Week 2 Loss - Post Thoughts Here
Anyone blaming Case is kray...he’s been much better than Alex Smith ever was...the big issue other than the defense being garbage, our Oline can’t run block and our backs haven’t been getting it done.

Re: Week 2 Loss - Post Thoughts Here
I made up for it by yelling and cussing enough for both of us. Probably good I live over 1/4 mile from the closest neighbor. I seemed to get extra pissed off yesterday. What happened to that top 10 defense we were supposed to have, especially the D-line?
