$3.45 is the maximum if he receives all bonuses. Could be 3rd down coverage guy....tested 4.51 40 at the combine

Pierre-Louis flashed near the end of the 2019 season, where he played in relief of the injured Roquan Smith. Pierre-Louis had 28 tackles and one interception in the final four games.

Lions released LB Devon Kennard.


Kennard is a 29-year-old team captain coming off back-to-back seven sack seasons and a career-high 45 solo tackles. It's a puzzling move given his on-field production, but the Lions do save $5.4 million against the cap and did just land Jamie Collins yesterday. Kennard will have a market as a starter and should get picked up shortly.

Don't get it. Don't care that he's a "good locker room guy" which is how some will spin it - or how many tackles he had last year. He'll be 37 by the time the season starts and this is a rebuilding team.

The Redskins have no 4-3 experienced LBs. If Davis proves himself in pre-season he will be a mentor for a year for a rookie LB. The Redskin cannot rebuild the entire team in one year.

Just a quick blurb from Wikipedia - I know it is his 2014 season:

Through the first five weeks of the 2014 season, Pro Football Focus rated Davis as the best 4-3 outside linebacker in coverage.

My point here is that if we are switching to a 4-3, and it's Rivera's system he grew up in, seems like he is coming in to help Rivera/Del Rio set expectations and model the system how it should work.

We also have a slew of LB's so my guess is it is gonna be a helluva competition - if they get to have group practices...
