Unless it's Winston, Mariota, Trubisky, Dalton, Taylor, Bridgewater, Murray, or Ryan.

Re: 2022 veteran QB options

I think there is a reason those guys aren’t on the list. Not that the list is the holy grail, but there is probably a reason.

Yeah, the reason is Pete Hailey doesn't think they belong. It's not like this list came from RR.

You could drop five of the QBs on that list, and replace them with five of the guys I mentioned, and it would be just as useful an article.

I do think it's interesting that two of the QBs Washington was interested in trading for last year aren't on the list though - Mariota & Trubisky.

Wasn’t meant to be an interesting article. Lol. Just a snapshot of the more than likely candidates. You certainly can replace Wentz with Mariota if you want. I think it will be one of the draftees or one of the big guns. Well I hope it is anyway.

I still think Willis is RG4, not the future for this franchise.

I agree and RG3 in his prime was better then Willis.

That's unfair to say because Willis hasn't even hit his prime yet lol

RG3 prime was his senior year at baylor and every nfl game season one before the ravens game.

I guess i was trying to say there were alot more believers in RG3 coming out of college then willis.

Also who do you know Willis hasn't hit his prime. Did you you check his prime meter? lol

Re: 2022 veteran QB options

Willis hasn't taken a snap in the pros yet, pump the brakes yo. If he's there at 11 I'm fine with taking him, or even moving up a few spots.

Not sure how much scouting input into those but not a good sign if you haven't taken an NFL snap and ranked below Heinicke. Strong as a mid round is intriguing but sounds like we will need a vet stop gap in there.

Obviously there is a wait and see element that is impossible to know now.
I agree, if we could get Strong in say the third round and keep TH to start for another year id be fine with that.

I also think Willis has a better arm, mechanics than RG-3 did. RG-3 was basically a world class sprinter playing quarterback. Willis is probably going to be a better quarterback. Will he be a franchise guy? Who the hell knows. It is crazy to say RG-3 was better than someone who never took a snap will be though. Unless you got a crystal ball.
