To all the Landry haters who spewed garbage about how Horton and Doughty could carry this team.... I thought it would be a couple games before I called you out. It took a quarter.

HTTR! Anyone want any Chokey Soup? All you can eat in Dallas....

Bruce Bodreau? By the way is it hockey season yet? Wins are nice, but I miss seeing the Capitals kicking ass, at least during the regular season.

Your sample size is way to small. Though it's safe to say that Landry might finally live up to his draft status if this continues.

Re: Week 1: Redskins vs. Cowboys, Game-Day Thread

Just got in from the game and popped another beer. Why the eff not? I'm half drunk, no voice, and soooo happy. That was the happiest I've seen redskins nation in a while. It was wild- on that last series this thick fog started swirling into the stadium.... Then the last play... And elation...

Needless to say that was one of the coolest moments I've ever had at a live sporting event.

HTTR!

And Laron Landry is a freaking animal. His best game as a redskin for sure.

As good as Landry looked, Doughty was the polar opposite.

That may have been his worst game here, and he has had some bad ones.

Horton should start the next game. T. Carter must be finished if he couldn't beat out Doughty.

Ditto... Redskins Nation knows he blows and that proved true last night. Terrible coverage skills, late anticipation, slow to the ball, man it was ugly. I'm glad I'm not the only one who saw this.

Re: Week 1: Redskins vs. Cowboys, Game-Day Thread

So all the cowgirl fans around me are screaming that im jealous of their five rings.

The skins have been NFL champs twice and SB champs 3 times if they gave out rings during the depression and WWII we'd have five

Good win tonight..who else almost died upon seeing that pass to Austin though?

Re: Week 1: Redskins vs. Cowboys, Game-Day Thread

Just got home from the game half an hour ago. Crazy awesome, it was unbelievable. I've never heard Fedex that loud, especially on the final drive. My voice was gone but I was still screaming my lungs out, along with every other fan in the joint.

Definitely an ugly win, and some might look at that statement and declare the key word in that is "ugly", but for me the key word in that is "win."

And don't even get me started on those burgundy and gold uniforms. Absolutely sexy. I have absolutely no idea why we ever switched to red jersey/white pants combo like we've used before this season. Alls I know is I like it, and I don't want them to go away.

What was DMacs YPC %.. at one point it was 12 yards per comp. That's not bad IMO

Anyone notice that Mcnabb gets rid of the ball quickly? Not to bash JC cause there is another thread already doing that, but I swear he saved a few sacks last night just by playing faster than JC.
