Exactly right. We missed the boat for a killer trade. TW will not play here this year. The redskins OL will suck this year without TW. BL - Bruce Allen has managed to work his way into the worst possible scenario with TW, just like he did in the Cousins situation. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

No way in hell the Patriots offered a first for him. The Patriots usually get the upper hand when it comes to trades, they don't pay top dollar in the trade market. |

Re: Trent Williams holding out for new deal
I think if anyone really did offer a one, and we didn't do it, Bruce really wouldn't have a job anymore

Re: Trent Williams holding out for new deal
Go get Greg Robinson. Steal him from the Browns. Seriously.

Re: Trent Williams holding out for new deal
Matt Kalil OT 4th overall pick in 2012 is now available after the Texans cut him, I would cut Flowers and give him a chance to resurrect his career, can’t be worse than Flowers.

Re: Trent Williams holding out for new deal
If Trent sitting for a year and getting nothing back gets Smithers fired, I'd take it. This was originally meant to be tongue in cheek, but I actually could be ok with it. It's embarrassing that we have someone so incompetent that losing our best player to get rid of him sounds remotely reasonable.

Re: Trent Williams holding out for new deal
I'd cut Flowers and go with 52 players. I really hope he makes me eat so much crow this year.

I read somewhere that Flowers natural position is guard, and he’s finally able to do it. There was an article somewhere that said he’s look good. It said his problem was teams trying to play him at tackle, and he couldn’t make the adjustment. Not sure how accurate this is. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

We're truly going to find out about Flowers ability to play guard on Sun. Start the Eagles d if you have them in fantasy.

Re: Trent Williams holding out for new deal
The guy who needs to be replaced is Christian (LT). He is terrible, with bad foot control and he is the ONLY backup to the 36-year old Penn. If Penn goes down teams are going to eat Christian alive. I’m far more worried about Christian than Flowers.
I guess they don’t care about Christian because Bruce Allen says Trent Williams is coming back. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
