Re: WFT's Off-Season Thread
Remember the days when signing the draftees was as much drama as Aaron Rodgers v Green Bay? I don't miss those days at all!

Re: WFT's Off-Season Thread
I hadn't seen this:
MAY 13: COVID-19 ENDS THE TRYOUT:*According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, WFT will not have tryout players at its rookie camp this weekend due to COVID-19. A positive*test returned among one of the five players in the tryout group. Washington now will not have any of those players at the minicamp.* Guess no canadian bacon in the defensive backfield. I wasn't thinking about massive contract situation like Rodgers, rather the usual small negotiation that makes it so you have to wait just a little bit before EVERY rookie has signed. Envoyé de mon SHV48 en utilisant Tapatalk

Re: WFT's Off-Season Thread
Episode 63 of Al Galdi's pod is an absolute must listen IMO.
Good takes based on Ron's comments that if you look at recent history, except Brady nobody is winning several SBs, you'll find a lot of one timers à la Nick Foles in SB QBs, that is you get Tom Brady it's great, but you can do without, and shouldn't force it if you don't get Brady. Nice take on the fact that signing Fitzpatrick in a year everybody is giving up the farm to get a chance at potentials franchise QBs is zigging when everyone else is zagging, and there's some smartness there.

Re: WFT's Off-Season Thread
Call me crazy but this team is starting to resemble the 1991 Redskins...right down to the QB no one thought could do it.

We went 10-6 the two seasons before 1991 and had solid rosters both years. We are much improved but not a SB team. Comparisons of FitzAverage to Rypien are ludicrous. Rypien was one of the most accurate deep ball passers in the history of the game. Lots of people thought he could do it. We last won a playoff game 15 years ago, talk about SB run ludicrous. Let's win the division with a winning record, beat more than one winning team, and win a playoff game and take it from there. |

If our schedule didn't include all 4 conference title game teams and 5 of the other 7 division winners, I could see this team doing that same turnaround. But we do, so I am not saying we will go 15-1. I am saying our roster is worthy of a deep playoff drive, IF our offense shows consistency. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk |

Here is an article on passing accuracy I found interesting, and he has a paragraph where he discusses Fitz directly. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.mil...p-accuracy-nfl And here is a chart from that article reflecting 2020 passing metrics that puts Fitz in pretty good standing. Re: WFT's Off-Season Thread
Last year we had 16 total passing TDs. I can't imagine the offense being worse.
