I don't really think that Mallett will be homeless within three years. I think he'll be sitting in his rec room with JaMarcus Russell watching the NFL on television.
Ryan Mallet had 2 consecutive seasons at Arkansass where he pass for over 3500 yards and 30 tds. He played in the toughest division in college football. He has one of the best arms we have seen in a long time. He accurate with the football both and outside of the pocket. My only knock on this kid is that he has threw some costly intercepts, but for the most part he's a stud.

I agree with you completely. It bugs the crap out of me that he calls himself the by his name. 'Cam's gonna do this, Cam's gonna do that.' Jesus, its like watching the 'Jimmy' episode of Seinfeld...

Maybe we should draft him. Last QB that did that won a Super Bowl for us.

Re: 2011 NFL Draft

After watching the program my self, I really came away impressed with the attitude both Tyrod Taylor and Jake Locker have toward the game.

I'm actually on the fence about the way Cam was talking. At points I could almost see the fire in his eyes in that he wanted to prove his doubters wrong. I'm just not sure how long that'll last if he's gonna be a top pick (which he will be).

I'm hoping like hell the Panthers don't select him. I'll have to hear about that ****ing idiot for longer than I care for.

I second that. Would love to get both of these guys this draft.

Tyrod Taylor will never be a qb in this league and Jake Locker is a certified loser.

Jake Locker is most definitely not a certified loser

Re: 2011 NFL Draft

Sorry L44 I agree on Mallett but JL is far from a loser, he took a team that went 0-12 to a bowl game and won, he's not Peyton manning but he's no loser either

Re: 2011 NFL Draft

Maybe loser was to strong of a word to describe Jake Locker. I think unproductive is a better word to describe this guy. Outside of a few highlights he really hasn't done much. He doesn't make the guys around here better. He doesn't pass the ball all that well. Let face this kid hasn't went up against the best competition and he's still lost a lot games at Washington. Honestly don't see anything about Jake Locker (outside of his athleticism) that I find impressive. I'll give him his credit he'll make a couple of incredible plays, but for the most part he's ineffective.

Re: 2011 NFL Draft

Taylor certainly deserves a chance in this league based on numbers alone.
