just out of curiousity, how do you ban someone and know they aren't on board as someone else?

What if they try to create a new name on a new computer?

Well the system isn't perfect, we have had that happen in the past. Usually we find that people generally log on from the same general set of computers on a regular basis so we just block access from those computers.

People that circumvent that eventually reveal themselves, however inadvertently.

Really, though, I think it's done with IP addresses. However, SBF isn't a spammer (by any stretch of the imagination) who is going to just create a new account to avoid a 2 week ban. He's going to sit it out, and then come back at some point down the road when he feels good and ready to.
