Re: Thoughts on Skins vs Titans
On the offensive side of the ball we have alot of work to do, JC was average. Brunell looked his age, Collins looked most impressive for once. One of the old timers has got to go. Hopefully Brunell!
Pleasantly suprised with the defense, looked IN FORM! Fletch was awesome, along with the line and the secondary! Its just the first game of pre, I look for us to sharpen up on the offensive side of the ball each week. We came home with a victory by fighting it out till the end, look forward to improvements this week against the steelers at home. |

Our defense was beast that game. Even when JC fumbled and gave it to them with amazing field position we drove them back and they didn't even kick a field goal. Offensive line needs some work and we need to learn how to hold on to the football.

Can't wait to see how we handle the Steelers pash rush. Also will be good to see Ryan Clark return home. We should have never let him go, especially for the little money that he demanded. With the Steelers left OLINE weak, I am also interested to see how our DLINE steps up.
Speaking of our offense, I saw a really good breakdown from last nites game. This guy has way too much time on his hands. postgameheroes.com/?p=90#more-90 |

AS a former, you have one job: Catch the Frickin Ball!!! Not only did he get two hands on it, but he brought it into his chest only to lose it. It could have even been a fumble. That very well could have been a 3 and long in a SEASON game, where it counts mind you, that we needed, and the only outcomes that I saw were a dropped pass and a potential fumble. Think about that!

This isn't per chance your site is it? If it is, no need to spam this board. Just reach out to Mattyk (click on "Contact Us") and he can discuss linking to each other's sites with you.
Also, is this the same site that had the "inside source" that Taylor was carted off the field with a serious knee injury? And finally, do you need to be taught how to hyperlink? Let us know, one of us can teach you

Re: Thoughts on Skins vs Titans
Are we looking at the same thing, Smoot? It was a chart analyzing all the offensive plays, with commentary--didn't seem so bad to me. I didn't see the game, so I can't say if the charts are accurate, but it was interesting. I didn't look at the rest of the site, so maybe I missed the bad.
I defer to your better judgment if there's trouble...

Don't worry Marcus Washington did make some plays. He was the first Skin to bring Chris Brown down behind the line during their first drive. He was around the ball a lot as well, helping with a few tackles. I remember thinking it looked like he bounced back from his hip surgery pretty well the way he was flying around the field. |

Re: Thoughts on Skins vs Titans
I hope they play Palmer at some point. We need a young guy in there to push JC or at least give us a healthy option if JC gets hurt. Brunell should do the honorable thing and retire before he is dumped.

It looked like JC may have had Cooley deeper on that route, but I think he checked down to ARE because he was under such intense pressure and couldn't have thrown a better deep ball to Cooley. Throwing it away Brunell style may have been the best option. |

History has shown that when people come onto our site and are constantly linking to another site that it's their own site that they are trying to promote (unless it's GTripp and Football Outsiders). As a rule of thumb, if someone wants to do that all they need to do is contact Matty and Matty discusses with them linking from one site to the other. That's all I'm saying.

Thanks for the advice, I'll tell them to reach out to Mattyk. I can't hyperlink until I have enough posts. I have been a lurker here and never had a reason to log in until now. As for the Taylor story, I can't speak to that. I know I just posted on here that they are reporting a MRI. After emailing with the admin of the site, they still stick by it. Don't know who to believe, but excited about Taylor's year. Anyways...F the Steelers and their stupid mascot. |

Re: Thoughts on Skins vs Titans
Hey thanks a lot for the welcome guys. I have been browsing around this message board for awhile and I finally decided to join. I am only 19 but I am a diehard Redskins fan forever, born and raised, and I'm pretty well informed on their history. I'm going to the Steelers game next saturday so hopefully we'll see some better performances from the starters, especially the offense.
