Re: Greg Blache Defensive Scheme!!
It's too easy to get angry on here guys. There's too much security sitting behind a computer screen. Move back to the topic.

Re: Greg Blache Defensive Scheme!!
if it means anything, which i doubt, i think gtripp brings alot to the table. i find most of his analysis very helpful/ insightful. and i usually smell arrogance, even when there isn't any. i think his is more of frustration. OK, i have said enough. now back to arguing about something i know very little about- politics( where's firstdown when you need him?)

Re: Greg Blache Defensive Scheme!!
Keep doing what you do Tripp. You're a whole lot easier to take than the geniuses who come on here and say stuff like," Campbell sucks because.......you know he's... too tall...or something.....yeah!" Arrogant? Sometimes. Informative? Very. I don't always agree with him, but the board is better with him than without. JMO.

Re: Greg Blache Defensive Scheme!!
I wonder if the skins would consider Chris McAlister to play the nickel corner position. Do we have a legitimate nickel corner on the roster?

Re: Greg Blache Defensive Scheme!!
Well, theoretically either Smoot or Barnes would be #3 corner.. I'm pulling for Barnes to win the spot - on papers, he definitely looks good.. So let's wait and see if he can do the walk.. I wouldn't mind signing a legitimate #3 corner from market and give it a competition between those guys, including Tryon (long shot tho)..

Re: Greg Blache Defensive Scheme!!
I wish we could get McAlister and move him to free safety and move Landry to his natural position. It would be an incredible move for our defense!

A lot of people, I think, do realize that at the end of the day, I'm not trying to come off as THE knowledgeable one, or THE only one who can form a coherent opinion. And, I think, to generalize everything I say into a "just wants to be right" category would be a poor description of my character. But, yes, I am knowledgeable, and if people try to explain why I'm wrong, I'm going to go out and defend my opinion. Always. Is that arrogance? I guess, then. Sorry for knowing my shit. Unlike some people on this board though, I'm not afraid to admit when I am wrong about something (Todd Collins), or someone. In my definition of arrogance, an arrogant person would not be able to do that.

Re: Greg Blache Defensive Scheme!!
Uhhh...mazing! You take a group of guys that are probably not the most talented, get them to play consistently well over the course of a long injury riddled season where very often the offense wasn't doing them any favors, they finish fourth overall and you get a couple of armchair Ditka's that think you get bonus points for sacks to post a ridiculous thread like this. If I were him and I read this I might retire or worse bring my mediocre scheme to Dallas and leave us with the proven accomplishments of Jerry Gray.
