Re: Redskins/Giants Opening Day Predictions

I am predicting that a few balls bounce our way against the Giants this season and we come out on top.

Re: Redskins/Giants Opening Day Predictions

I really have no idea. Both teams are pretty enigmatic to me. Lots of questions. Their passing game would seem to be less of a threat than it has been...but our secondary has been iffy. They can run the hell out of the ball...but our run defense ought to be pretty stout. Our run game has looked woeful...but their D-Line is a little banged up and it remains to be seen whether our run game in the preseason was at all reflective of our approach or not. Our passing game of course is a huge question. I think it'll come down to how well we pass the ball. If we protect Campbell decently we win. I have serious question whether that happens. Either way it'll be close.

From the G-men fans I talk to at work they are questioning their team just as much, if not more, than Skins fans right now.

NY fans are the hardest to please. They won the SB two years ago and went 12-4 last year. I wish we had those things to worry about.

Yeah but the guys I know are usually cocky as all hell. Not this year though. They have some genuine concerns, and of course they always hate Eli.

I think they should have. They didn't exactly end the season on a high note either and lost their best receiver.

Then the're not real Blue Bloods Matty! If they were they would have faith in Jerry Reese ....the GM.

23-16 OT- Giants

We tie at 16-16 in regulation. Giants get lucky and get first ball, BJ unfortunately breaks free through open field and runs in for a 43 yd score (like that OT loss to SD a few years back). big disappointment for our Skins, but staying with the G-men for a full 4 quarters gives us some confidence... .

I'll be there... corner endzone about 20 rows up wearing a Portis jersey!

Redskins 17
Giants 13

Skins score TD to take lead in last minute... Campbell to Moss

Re: Redskins/Giants Opening Day Predictions

I think the game will be very close in the first half and the skins will catch the Giants off guard. However, the Giants have an excellent coach and will make great half-time adjustments, while our beloved team becomes overconfident and falters in the 2nd half. I predict our pass-rush will be nonexistent and our secondary will give up crucial first down after first down in the 4th quarter. Our first win of the season will come at home September 20th.

don't know what the score will be but i've got a feeling the skins are gonna win this game and by doing so, will surprise a lot of people.
