In the meantime, in the first half, Cutler is 5/16 with 3 INTs. But we'd be a lot better off with him for sure.

I know there are a lot of anti-Campbell fans out there and he didn't play a great game but to put any more than about 15% of the blame on him is just dumb. He was careless with the ball on the fumble and should have just tucked and ran out of bounds on the INT but to say he looked 'confused' and 'deer in the headlights' and 'lost'? C'mon guys, let's get real.

Exactly. His rating was over 90 and his completed 73% of his passes. He wasn't the problem today.

When did we stop running the ball?!? Did you watch the game? All we DID was run the ball!! When you are down 2 scores for most of the game that's not a time to pound the rock. We need to become a pass first offense. If you want to protect and maximize our offensive line, quit being so predictable. We were run, run, pass all day long. Want to set your QB up to get killed? Put him in 3rd and long after 2 failed runs.

I can tell you I doubt DS is going to do anything drastic during the season. It kills me to no end wondering why owners cut a HC mid season. What is that supposed to accomplish? Then make the new HC do what? Change the scheme? That won't happen it takes to much time to start a whole new offense. Unless you writing off the season and you know new HC's offense is better and will stick.

No Zorn is here for the season. Either he gets this fixed or he's gone.

If Zorn's going to play like that, he needs the quarters to be 40 minutes each. Otherwise, he wastes half the game running Portis into no space.
Yes. Yes. Yes. I said this all game long. The Giants were missing two CBs today...we should have been picking them apart through the air but after Jason goes 8/11 (with a few bad decisions) Zorn went away from the pass completely. BUT...the only thing i can think is Zorn really doesn't like what he's seeing from the WR corp in live play. I think I see it two. They're routes are mostly awful and there's very little separation. I hate to be the broken record but things keep pointing back to Hixon...his group (i mean the guys he's supposed to have developed, not ARL and Moss who he acquired) are just not NFL caliber. I'm tired of the excuses for that, period.

Re: can WE now start a countdown to a new coach and qb

Seriously guys? Jason's stats were very close to Eli's. What I don't understand is, last year, the guy is super conservative, throws very few INT's, and the complaint is "Jason doesn't take chances, the dink and dunk isn't going to get it done".

Today his turnovers are held out as proof he cost us the game, but surely him holding that ball forever and a day is not because he was looking to throw a 2 yard dumpoff pass. He was looking to take a shot and waited too long. It happens.

I know everyone is tired of me pointing at Jay Cutler but homes is looking fantastic right now, with 3 picks already. Granted, Sanchez had a solid game but come on, it was the Texans

Jason didn't have a great game, to be sure. But this game was not on him. How many third and longs did we allow NY to convert in the first half? How many times did we call predictable, vanilla run plays on 1st and 2nd down? How many tackles did we totally whiff on in the secondary? And don't get me started on the ARE reverse.

I predict that the team will lose a couple more games before Zorn says "Eff it" and throws caution to the wind. Then we'll win a couple of games and surprise some people. But it will probably be too little, too late.

I know this sounds like a homer statement but the best team lost today.

The 4th and 1 play by Haynesworth was out of this world....

His talent is out of this world.

The Giants will lose in Washington and we are a legitimate contender in the division even though I am frightened by the Eagles.

I think the answer is much clearer (and less Hixon focused) than you'd like to believe. Zorn is in over his head and his stubbornness will probably cost him his job.

Juggernaut is right...Campbell is pathetic. Missed passes, looks scared, he is not our franchise QB!!! Zorn is an idiot, he has now idea how to run a football team. He would be a nice QB coach, THAT's IT!!! It's time to stop our excuses for Campbell, oh new OC, o new system, new this new that....how about he is just NOT that good!!!!!! At best we are an 8-8 team!!! If you can live with that, then you can live with Campbell and Zorn, I can't!!!!

Uh yeah, a costly pick and a fumble return for a TD isn't a problem. But I generally agree with you JC wasn't the main problem at all, but he was a part of it.

Re: can WE now start a countdown to a new coach and qb

JC had good stats pretty much on two drives that were in 2 minute mode at the end of each half. Take those out of the equation and he was average. Why we can't have drives like the two for TDs for more than emergencies is beyond me.

Santana Moss needs to be benched or traded. Eff Moss.

I'm not the one to bash JC, but if he can't lead this team to victory over the G-men then eff him too. He chickened out with that run play when we needed that first down and his game management stinks. Collins can beat them, so could Ramsey.

I (Reed Doughty) have a high motor, but I, nor can the rest of the defense play for 7/8ths of a game.

The defense is going to be drinking warm beer tonight on the way back home. At least it's beer. We threw a humble pie on the floor of the offense's bus. Let them do an interview about that!

My agent tells me that after my one year contract is up, I stand a chance of going to a good team, like Baltimore.
