Re: Redskins Potentially Interested in Trading Up For Gabbert

If Mike trades up and snags him, I really believe I will have lost any hope of him bringing change into our organization. It will indicate that he either has no spine and does whatever Dan tells him to do, or that he only won two Superbowls because of the team he inherited, NOT because of what he brought to the team.

I don't think we're going to trade up for Gabbert

Re: Redskins Potentially Interested in Trading Up For Gabbert

I would like to find a comparison between the teams who had the most draft picks, and their records over the past ten years.

My assumption is the Patriots, Colts, Eagles and Steelers would lead the way.

More picks, better odds of finding the guys that fit.

I think it's amazing that we are less than 24 hours before the draft and we still have both our 1st and 2nd round picks. Haven't had both since 2002! (of course we had two 1st rounders in '05, but mentioning that takes away from the strength of my post)

Luck's only in a Redskins uniform if we have the 1st overall pick next year
If the the team who has the first pick doesn't need a qb, we could trade our two 1st round picks for the #1 overall. That was the point I was trying to make.

We did? Theres just this big gap in my memory where 2008 is suppose to be. I keep on seeing this name. Vinny, Vinny. Everytime I hear it I want to destroy something valuable.

Denver spreads the word they like Von Miller | ProFootballTalk

Not trying to prevent them from trading back with us or anything like that but Von Miller? I can understand if you're running a 3-4, but number 2 for a 4-3 OLB? That guy better be Lawrence Taylor.

I think if they stay at 2 they're taking Patrick Peterson

That's not much better. You've had the best Corner in the game since 2004 or at least he was the best for most of the years since then. How does adding another corner change your defense? If I'm John Elway and I go defense with the 2nd pick I'm going either Dareus or Fairley.
