re: The Walking Dead thread (spoiler alert, read at your own risk)
Also, apparently this Governor becomes Rick's main antagonist next season, which has been Shane's role of late. So I think either Shane bites the bullet, or Rick and Shane become a formidable team against the Governor.
Have I mentioned I love this show?? I think when it's all said and done, I'll then go back and read the graphic novels.

I am joking but some people get all mad if you call them comic books. The PC name is Graphic Novel.

Were they saying that they turned from scratches? I wondered if that was foreshadowing anything.

I thought that was going to foreshadow Hershel's daughter's mystery coma, but I guess not.

Good call. Wonder if the virus, or whatever it is that turns them into walkers, is starting to spread more easily.

Eh. They'll always be comic books to me.

They said that? I don't remember. I am also really bad at paying attention to TV shows I am always doing something on the side when watching them. During this episode Iwas sharping my kitchen knives.

re: The Walking Dead thread (spoiler alert, read at your own risk)
Maybe the really good comic books deserve a better name than "comic books," but I think it's a discredit to actual novelists to call them "novels."
Anyway, regardless of what it's called, it's been adapted to some darn good TV!

Yeah right after Shane and Rick killed the two guards at the works facility, they inspected their corpses and commented that there were no bites on them, just scratches....

Ironically I see there is a show on AMC with Kevin Smith called "Comic Book Men."

I don't know how closely this series follows Max Brooks' theories on zombies, but that would be extremely interesting if that were the case.

Really though, why wouldn't contact with Z blood cause an infection? Rick was covered in it this week.
