Actually, the other report was wrong. It was Chad's wife that found the receipt for the condoms. Apparently he was the one messing around?

I stand corrected. Would have been funnier the other way. I would have said, "baby, they for you!"

CJ hasn't been much of a force since leaving the Bengals anyway. Did the Fins really need him all that much?

CJ wasn't even on the first team and Miami really doesn't have any wr's. He's done and has no one to blame but himself. Now he can do reality shows full time.

This wasn't a football decision but just for factual accuracy Chad was a first team WR.

This is unfortunate for CJ because now everyone is like "I told you so!" about him when in reality he's never been a "societal problem". The worst he ever did was request a trade from the Bengals.

I never understood the Ocho Cinco hate, personally. Look at what other players do, (Ray Lewis, Chris Henry, Haynesworth, Pac-man, Vick). We had Donte Stallworth and Larry Johnson on our team recently. Meanwhile, Chad changes his name and we're horrified.

Don't know how this arrest will pan out, but up to that point I don't understand why anyone would bash Chad/Ocho.*

*(Even though I'm glad Vinny wasn't able to trade multiple 1st rounders for him, a while back. Thank goodness the Bengals turned us down.)

His act gets annoying after a while. Just play ball. Marrying reality stars, having multiple tv shows, constant twittering, putting on HOF jackets after you score...all that is all good when you can still get open and put up numbers. Now his skills have eroded and no one cares about his act anymore. It's a distraction that Philbin wasn't going to tolerate.

He's never even been in any trouble, and I think the dolphins are just clueless honestly. They have turned into a laughing stock

Re: Around the nfl: Pre season week 1

Ok, I'm not trying to hijack this thread, but I have a fantasy keeper question for all you Fantasy Football guys. I had Ryan Mathews last year and he can be a 7th round keeper for me this year in a 10 team standard non-ppr format. We start 2 RB, 2WR and 1 flex. Is he worth keeping for a 7th round pick? or is he done thsi year and too fragile.... discuss.

You should take this up in the fantasy football section

Re: Around the nfl: Pre season week 1

Luck looked good no doubt, but yeah I agree with holding off on saying he's going to be better than PM. PM is one of the all time greats, Luck is just getting started.
