Re: Brandon Meriweather, You Big Tease (Injury News)

How are we missing 7-8 starters to injury??

By my count we have the following starters on IR: Orakpo, Carriker, Davis.

Jamal Brown is on PUP.

I'm not counting Helu, there was no guarantee he would have won the job over Morris. Even if you want to count him that's not 8 guys.

Are Rak and Carikker coming back? NO. GONE FOR THE SEASON. Wow, they played 2 games!!! I think you know exactly what I mean when I say gone for the entire season. That means, they get injured and not coming back. In your Giants instance, those players came back. Only 2 starters did not come back. Those are the two I mentioned.

I know Osi/Tuck missed games, I CLEARLY stated that some of their starters missed games. You know why I didn't mention Amukamura? HE WASN'T STARTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just because he was a last 1st round pick doesn't mean he's a starter. As noted by him not starting ANY of those 7 games he played in.

Prince Amukamara NFL Football Statistics - Pro-Football-Reference.com

Also, he didn't have a injured foot that's caused him to be at 80% strength. Truthfully, Garcon shouldn't even be playing. Did you even notice he was on the field this past Sunday? I sure didn't.

I'm done with this. Until you find me proof that a team has dropped 7-8 starters for the remainder of the season and still excelled, then you are wasting your time. I debunked the claims of the 2011 Giants and 2010 Packers did so.

Also.. you're wrong.

The fact that you think Helu is more important to us than Prince was to the Giants is absurd. Ross stunk and itvwas a matter of time until Prince took over. Helu like Matty said was never a guarantee and incase you havent noticed we havent missed a beat with Almo? Did you even read the excerpt from abvove? Its almost uncanny how many teams have gone to and or won the superbowl with major major injuries!
To sit there and say they werent missing Starters like Jamal Brown, Roy Helu, and Brandon Merriweather is nothing short of pure delusion.

Meriweather is out therefore Shanny must go. It's logical.

That is completely rite on. Three guys. One of which - Davis actually played a handful of games.

Ok so we can add Meriweather. Still doesn't add up to 8 guys.

You can not count Helu all you want to. There is no guarantee that he wouldn't have won the job either. As it is, he started last year and with Hightower out again it was his to lose. Also, you can add our original starter Hightower to that list as well.

1) Meriweather (gone for year)
2) Jackson (injury/drug....still gone)
3) Rak (gone for year)
4) Davis (gone for year)
5) Brown (PUP....hasn't played yet and probably will not play this year)
6) Helu (gone for year)
7) Garcon (1 game at full strength...playing at 60% rest of year)
8) Carriker (gone for year)

Hell, it would be 9 if we included Hightower...lol

Yes, you might as well add Garcon to that list.

What do you gain by playing Gracon at 60%...

Grant Paulsen ‏@granthpaulsen

I'm told Pierre Garcon played at about 60% health yesterday. He still plans on gutting it through rest of the year as of now. #Redskins

Re: Brandon Meriweather, You Big Tease (Injury News)

Helu wouldn't of started over Morris, but he would of started over Royster. We miss his speed and playmaking ability out of the backfield on 3rd downs and passing situations. How many teams have a weapon that can catch out of the backfield and we don't this year?

Helu was an animal last year for a Rookie.

Well hell lets add Cooley and Gano and Armstrong and Rackers and throw in Sean Taylor while were at it - he would certainly have been starting on this team.....

Im pretty disgusted you would joke about ST's death.

Helu was very much a big part of our offense.

Look smart ass, I'm basing it off of last years starters. You all can sit here and say Helu wasn't going to start over Morris, but the fact is, Morris was 4th string. The only reason he moved up is because the other 3 in front of him were injured and he got a chance to shine. The limited time Helu was in, he did very well. As it stands, he was the starter. End of story.

I'm done with this. At this point, you are just being a jackass.

How did i know someone would play the holyier than thou card. Who is joking about his death bucket? He would be a starter on this team but it is pretty ridiculous to count him as a missing starter? I was making a point. I rooted and cheered for ST for four years at the U. My alma mater. He is far and above my favorite Redskin of all time and my most cherished piece of Redskin memorabilia is my 21 hat and towel from his tribute game. The one i spent alot of money that i did not have at the time to attend. I watch the video from that game to this day probably once a month because it so touching to me. I shed a tear every time. So pipe down about me "joking" about his death. Dont take my comment out of context to make me look like some jerk. Please. Thank you.

Well you kinda took NC out of context to be a smart ass and thought sarcastically adding a player in who died while still a part of the team would add context to your point..

Still just as bad. Hightower would be in Washington if he didnt blow out his knee. Helu would at the least be our off pace back which is basically a starter in the NFL.

Tbh.. im impressed that you are actually posting at least a paragraph a
