Re: Russel Wilson or Bob
Pretty sure ROY is a regular season award that will already be voted on before the playoffs start.

Re: Russel Wilson or Bob
Well, I think RG3 should win it.
But I think one of the other 2 (probably Luck) will win it. No football reason at all just a pure hunch.

I think RGIII/Wilson/Morris are the only three truly deserving of ROY. However, I'm sure Luck will get enough votes to make it very interesting & we all know Morris isn't going to get the votes.
I'd call Griffin & Wilson in a dead heat at the moment. I'd have no problems if either of them won ROY but if Luck gets it I'll question the award as much as the presidential election. |

Luck is well deserving of the award. He has been as good as advertised.

Come from behind victories matter why? Cut down on mistakes and there isn't a need to come from behind.
We won 5 games last year. If we played the Colts last year would you be confident we would've beat them? I'm not. Base the award off of the best stats not what the teams record was the year before. Teams talent levels are always under/overestimated each year. This is why we have a worst to first scenario almost every year. The award shouldn't be based upon what if's but on which player statistically had a better year. The colts and skins were not picked to make the playoffs but both did. So, both qb's led their team where experts thought they couldn't. Strictly #'s wise who had the better season? Pretty simple answer for me if we aren't concerned with what experts told us a team should have done this year. |

We get it. You love Luck. Great. From what I have seen, he has made some top flight throws and also some pretty f'ing crappy ones. I won't pretend to know the Colts offense or personnel, but I am pretty sure that, for the entire season, Luck has had his number 1 receiving option (who happens to be a pro-bowl and possible HOF'er) and, over the course of the season, Hilton has developed into a legitimate deep threat. (BTW - I have watched Luck and not just the highlights, but games). Luck is very good. Griffin and Wilson have been stellar. Griffin from game one, Wilson as he developed down the stretch and, b/c he has done it from game one, Griff gets the nod in my book.

Re: Russel Wilson or Bob
I love RGIII as much anyone, he is our QB and is fantastic x1000. All I'm saying is that Luck and Wilson might not compare in athleticism, because that's were RGIII beats them hands down. All 3 are smart, tough and class acts.

Re: Russel Wilson or Bob
Yes. All three are and I don't think anyone would dispute that. However, only one can be ROY. Right now, acknowledging Luck's good points, the discussion is between RGIII and Wilson. One of them is going to get it, Luck will likely finish third in the voting.

Re: Russel Wilson or Bob
Been watching some NFL Network and ESPN (trying to sober up before bed) and seems like the consensus is Wilson over RG for the playoff game, but this is an example of why I dislike analysts/commentators. When you actually listen to what they're saying, it's really Seattle over Washington i.e. Seattle has a significantly better defense and marginally better offense. They try to bring it down to personalities, which is pretty nonsensical unless the debate is PC vs MS.

The awards aren't announced until after the playoffs.
