Gruden could be out schemed by a high school football coach. Holy Shit.

The NFL like all business is about money and only money. These Revs get their marching orders and they keep their mouth shut and do what they are told. The NFL needs bodies watching the Tube and bodies warming the seats in the stadium and the NFL will do "anything" to make that happen.

So here's a hypothetical. What if last nights game was where Adrian Peterson was going to break the all-time rushing yards record and the Drew Brees record was not even on the table.
Would the game have gone any differently?

This is a song that I'm tired of hearing, the grooves have worn off.As Vince would say-WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON OUT THERE? if any of you reading this still thinks that Gruden has control of this team I feel bad for you because he has loss this team and the sad thing is that help ain't comin not this season which is over by the way..now we will beat-Dallas-The Giants only because they are as inept as we are but those will likely be our only victories for the rest of this year, now I may be wrong but it doesn't matter because the Eagles will win the division and we will be at home crying in our beer as always.

I guess how you feel about Kirk wanting to be here or not dictates how you feel about him. I think he was a whiny little phony that did not want to be here. He played us perfectly. Good for him. But I'll be rooting against him the rest of his career. Bye Felicia. Alex might not be as good but at least I can respect our QB now and maybe actually beat Dallas.

Gruden is a likable guy but an unlikable coach. One is more important. Time to move on.

People really need to get over this Cousins thing already.

You and I both know that will never happen until the Redskins win consistently. Until then, it will all be about what could have been.

All this fuss over a QB who went 26-30-1 here.

As usual after a loss too much focus on the QB in general.

Granted Smith did not play well at all, but the breakdowns on D and with the OL were more of a concern to me.

My favorite play was when the game was still close and we had the ball around their 10. It was 3rd down and Brandon Scherff let his guy run right in and crush Smith while he stood there in the open field with no one around him doing nothing. Whether it was a miscommunication or not, and I love Scherff, that play just summed up the whole game perfectly.

What do you think was the bigger problem, the QB, or the "here"?

Definitely here...

Although he's only 2-2-1 in Minnesota so maybe we should say let's wait and see

I still think if they made a legit first offer that said "we value you" we could be looking at a different scenario here. But then again, they knew him firsthand so obviously they didn't think he was worth top dollar.

Either way, he reps the Vikings now so I don't give a shit.

Somebody needs to ball tap Jay Gruden and tell him for being a qb whisperer he really hasn't worked his magic on Alex Smith yet. All that "we need to put Smith in better positions to make plays" talk tells me they were really unprepared for last week. How do you make the 30th ranked pass defense look good?

Well if all the focus shouldn’t be on the quarterback alone, than wins n losses shouldn’t define one either.
Besides Jay is the real problem and we all know it. Jay and Bruce.

That ain't happening. Especially when he just lit up the defending champs in their building, is playing very well, and Smith just threw out a shit sandwich and has 4 td passes in 4 games.

And yet they have the same amount of wins.

Cousins wasn't going to win in a shoot-out against Brees last night.

That was sickening. I'm one to always look (reach) for positives. It'll be hard on that one. I'll still watch the tape, to understand. But this was just BAD.

This led me to vote Coaches as the biggest reason of the debacle. When it's that awful across the board, it's on the HC.

just watched the defensive tape, bad bad bad. Scheme was horrible, Busted coverage all night long.. No pass rush, Payne and Allen are still balling every week tho. I will get feedback on the Offensive side (I only had the D to do).

Brees had it easy last night
