Re: Homecoming / Houston Thread
I know I sound like a broken record, but the Texans (like the Falcons, Saints, and Colts) can put a lot of points on the board.
Who’s ready to see Smith lose another shootout? Moses publicly said it. The offense needs to start carrying their weight and putting points on the board. The team cannot continue to rely on the defense. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: Homecoming / Houston Thread
Houston is 17th in points per game, not in the same conversation as New Orleans or Atlanta (both top 10).

Bruce Allen is about as much an idiot as Cerrato was. Smith doesn’t have this team at 6-3. AP and the defense does Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: Homecoming / Houston Thread
The D must be doing a heck of a job to compensate for the lack of points on offense right? Oh shit that's right, the D is overrated and not even that good, right? What am I thinking.

Homecoming / Houston Thread
Ok, here’s a simple question for the Smith supporters. Is he worth a third round draft pick, Fuller, and 5 years $111 Million?
Fuck no he isn’t!! If anyone thinks colt McCoy couldn’t have Gotten this offense to perform at a much higher level then they’re just straight fooling themselves AP And the defense are the reasons were six and three. Alex Smith hasn’t done shit to help us with that record Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I still advicate playing Smith until we are 2 scores down until we have a 2 score lead, then put Smith back in. No loss situation

Back to Smith, if he can get even a little more productive it will open the line for AP. As for the fact we are winning with AP and defense, thats the funniest complaint ever. Skins fans have been screaming for Gruden to focus on the run and improve the defense against the run. We do it, and have a qb who can win with that plan, and its not enough. |

Re: Homecoming / Houston Thread
I’m convinced now that some people miss the days of having a QB that could put up pretty numbers even if it meant losing 28-24 vs winning 16-3.
Smith’s contribution has been lack of turnovers and winning the field position battle. The +11 turnover ratio is one of the main reasons we’re 6-3 along with the D, AP, and special teams. |

Homecoming / Houston Thread
I think in this day and age everyone is so QB focused it’s easy to forget there are other formulas for success that don’t revolve around having a stud QB.
Yeah CR it’s funny how winning with D and the running game is somehow a bad thing. |
