Did the Buccaneers make a diving interception with great underneath and deep zone coverage on the play? Did the Buccaneers come up with a game plan to play soft bend don't break defense and execute it to perfection? Did the Buccaneers jump a route and pick another ball? Did the Buccaneers punch the ball out of the end zone? Did the Buccaneers strip sack Fitzpatrick late in the game? Ok they helped us allowing only 3 points by missing two field goals, but teams make errors all the time (heck we should know that: the Skins have been on the other side of those costly mistakes for years!) and allowing 9 points to the top passing offense in the league would have been pretty darn impressive too. The Bucs average 25.8 pts per game, and scored 48 on the Saints, 27 on the Eagles, 27 on the Steelers, 29 on the Falcons, 23 on the Browns, 34 on the Bengals and 28 on the Panthers. Before facing us they averaged 28.25 pts per game, their lowest score being 10 against the Bears. But yeah, our defense sucks.

Re: Homecoming / Houston Thread
No you didn't but it amazes me how credit for this impressive win gets stripped away from this team by its own fans...

I think there are people in here that would complain their beer is too cold.

Pretty good article on what a QC coach does for a living:

Rib injuries are no joke. Anyone questioning CT clearly has no idea how painful it can be. |

Damn right I’m excited about being 6-3 in November. Should I be wishing for the days of when we’re usually 3-6 right now instead? Have fun sulking over winning lol |

Give it a break. Don’t conflate me (and several others) saying I do not think we are as good as our record currently indicates with me saying i hate when we win. Thats just dumb. From now on everyone just post “we are great” and nobody dare critique the team about anything. Or the fan police will come for you. |

I am guessing some of the adults I have seen scream or cry after being stung by a hornet are hiding behind a keyboard wanting CT to play in an NFL game with broken ribs, when if they had his pain they would not even get out of bed. Sorry, end of rant. |

If you knew back in August we would be 6-3 right now you would have been fucking elated. Because it’s not a “pretty” 6-3 you’re looking for every excuse to discount it. As the saying goes you are what your record says you are. Relax and enjoy it. |

Of course I would have taken 6-3. Im happy as hell we are in the convo front and center in late November. Im simply giving my opinion on what I think this team is actually capable of going forward. Sorry it is not as rosy as yours. We beat Houston and I will feel a whole lot better about our potential going forward Ill tell you that much. |
