I literally screamed at the TV when the dropped that pass. I mean, the pass hit him right in the hands, and he had some separation from the DB that was covering. It would definitely had been a huge gain, if not a TD score.

Re: Texans Postgame
People underestimate how moments like this can have a huge effect on a game. It reminded me a lot of Nicholson's penalty that negated a 3rd down stop, and NO went off after this.
This dropped ball came after the Peterson TD, and I believe either the team had either stopped or held Houston to a FG and it was 10-7. They could have either taken the lead or tie the game then. I think it is a different ball game if that happens. But oh well.

Re: Texans Postgame
Deion Sanders said that was a horrible non call and he said if that was Hopkins we would have been flagged. Basically said Doc gets no respect from refs

Re: Texans Postgame
It was ridiculous, Doctson got mugged by two DBs and nothing.

Re: Texans Postgame
The play call was dumb to begin with, why would u throw an out route into double coverage anyway?

The NFL has certain teams/players that get calls and certain teams that they approve blatant cheating against. We're the latter. It's a joke. If I wasn't addicted like a crack head to football I'd stop watching. Instead I just yell and curse then come back next week for more of the same.

The line held up better then I thought it would but still not opening the holes needed for AD to succeed{except on the goal line for this game}.I don't think Thompson or Crowder coming back is gonna make much difference, they werent doing that great anyway. Both Smith and Colt made some heads up plays on getting away from the Texans pressure on a few snaps. I think Colt will be able to do just as well as Smith, maybe better, but he's more likely to throw an interception also{takes more chances} Colt is also injury prone, I will be surprised if he makes it thru the season, especially when the coach calls running plays for you and no backup qb on the sideline

Re: Texans Postgame
I could be way off but the first thing i thought when i saw that is that maybe Jay / Colt was hoping we'd get a pass interference penalty, that would have set us up within field goal scoring range.
