If we lose but the Lions and/or the Seahawks and/or the packers lose, we can still get in. And if we lose and all other 3 lose, we still just need to win agains the Cowboys to get in.

Cowboys are playing for the division next week right up until the Eagles result is decided (or thereafter). Just has become must and is an extremely unlikely outcome all things considered.

Re: Around the NFL Week 17

Anyone see the no fumble call at the start of the Dolphins v Pats game? In the UK there's a phrase now in common parlance due to a well known ad; "Should have gone to Specsavers". After this season the NFL REALLY needs to look at its officiating set up.

Albert Breer on Twitter

Raiders QB Jarrett Stidham is 11-of-14 for 145 yards, 2 TDs and a 149.4 passer rating through one half against the 49ers defense.

Who'd a thunk it, you can coach up a QB. Seems to pour cold water on the Carr narrative

Not really. Many of these guys come off the bench and do well for a game or even two. Then when the other teams start getting game film on them, then they tend to show you why they are sitting on the bench to begin with.

Yet they still have to complete passes, know where to throw it, see open guys and not throw into triple coverage. Not everything has to be about the defence not being familiar with the QB

They should be, they are in practice doing the same things the starter are doing. The only difference is the defense isn't prepared for them.

That said, was it CR up here talking about Kirk Cousins being clutch? ROOOOOOOOOOOOFL

Brah, that dude is anything but clutch. He shrinks in the biggest moments.

This really, really sucks how our season has ended. Please bring in an owner in a February.

Re: Around the NFL Week 17

Watching Aaron Rodgers crush our playoff hopes is an appropriate ending for the last month.

Hope the offseason starts with news of a sale, and the new ownership starting fresh.

I mean I know it's hot to shit on Kirk right now with the Vikings down 41-3, but he owns the biggest comeback in Redskins history and in NFL history. Credit where it's due.

Two games doesn't mean shit. Look at his record in primetime games. Wasn't he like 1-13? Kirk is a decent QB, but he's not going to carry you to a SB. Not unless the team around him carries him. I'd still take him over what we currently have, but not at his pricepoint.
