^^I got to agree with you on that. I read somewhere that with all the skins past cuts we signed/didn't sign someone like Foote, Dansby, Gandy, Lilja, Parker, Clifton, Jammal Williams, Darren Sharper?

By the way, the running back who I mentioned the other day will be cut soon but I couldn't figure out who it is...it looks like it's going to be Laurence Maroney. A guy I've mentioned in the past. Not sure, but I know the Pats are shopping him. They'll probably find a taker but if they don't find one by draft day, he's likely gone.

I want Maroney! I really believe Shanahan could get the best out of him.

I'm not sure whether we just don't want some of these guys much or whether we're just not willing to pay them. I mean no ARE contracts where you pay someone like they're a superstar, but what's the big deal with giving a guy just enough to stick around?

I know Allen said that we'd be hosting some guys but it doesn't mean that we'll offer them a contract, which happens, but what's the point in hosting so many and apparently not locking anyone up?
