Watching these two make me wish the Libertarian and Green Party candidates were included. These 2 might as well be saying the same thing, just shaded a tad. Let the libertarian candidate remind folks of the founding fathers warning of foreign entanglements. Let the Green candidate argue the point of less energy usage. In the end neither of these two aren't going to solve our problems or change the basic path this country is headed down.

Seriously though, why don't they invite the Libertarian and Green party candidates?

Truth. Corporate America (or media) doesn't want that to happen, and as long as money resides in politics, it'll continue to be that way.

One thing we can all agree on, is we can hardly wait for the political ads/etc to stop!

To be honest, I don't see that changing any time soon. Unless there is a huge popular movement/uprising.

Re: 2012 Presidential Election (free for all edition)
While I agree it would be nice to see, those two parties do not have enough support to be invited to the debate. It they were allowed to attened then you have a long list of others wanting to attened the debates. There has to be a cut off at some point. I lean Libertarian but they are unorganized and have done a poor job getting their base motivated to grow the party. The green party will never make it with the wackos they have leading the party.

You make a good argument for reducing the federal gov. thus reducing their power over the states. What you have is a country fighting over the massive 3.7 trillion federl budget and how it is spent. Take most of that away and leave it up to the states and most of these federal issue disappear. The sze of the federal gov is what has made this all about the money. |

Why would these guys invite anyone that isn't an elephant or a donkey?
