Alright, that's enough. I have to go wash my eyes with rubbing alcohol to get rid of that mental image.

Yes. It's been in my fridge for two years now. A bit skanky but, hey, it's all yours.

I'd guess that he'd be an e-girls fan, because Dallas fans will be mean to the skins, but they do it because of their rivalry; iggles fans are plain losers; and it'll keep getting worse until they get a super bowl win.

No, everyone does not need to agree with me to NOT be a Redskin hater, but I expect OBJECTIVE reporting from a journalist, or columnist, at least once in a while.

If you go look at every Redskins article that he has ever commented on, you will find that the overwhelming majority of them, he has an uncanny & unwavering disdain for the Skins.

Therefore, he is deemed a hater. Now, so can say that Gibbs' tenure here was ordinary, but to trivialize where we have come from since he has come back is shortsighted and just plain ole hate.

Focker Out!

Your other post sounded as if you were talking about a poster on this site and you were talking about LP.

Pasta is a TOTAL waste and classless as they come end of that story!

Here's a nice read on Joe in the NC paper:

i look at this two sided. 1 side - we are no better now than when Gibbs first got here 4 years ago. wins and losses ultimately make you or break you in the NFL. Yes we have made the playoffs two of the four years. great!! i love it. however, it took two miracle runs of 5 and 4 in row to go to the playoffs. if we have to make those kind of runs every year to make the playoffs, we may end up on the short end of the stick from time to time. When marty left we were 8-8, when spurrier left he was 12-20 overall, 8 games under 500. when Gibbs left, 5 games under 500. So, honestly wins and losses we are still the same team we were 8 years ago.

side 2. we are better off in terms of chemistry, draft picks for next year (minus a 4th rounder?) younger talent, making the Redskins matter again, making us feel more like a family. we are better off looking at it this way. Hopefully the Danny will learn patience, make the right move with the next coach (GW). if he hires someone else, Carroll, Cowher this roster will likely be blown apart to fit his style and that is 2 or 3 years of moves for us to compete. it all rests on one single move. the head coach. we need continuity, GW or Al is the only way we keep that, hopefully The Danny will realize this.
Well, believe it or not my friend, its just the way I feel. Let me say again, its not a personal attack, just the way I see it. I would hardly call this 'crap' when you consider some of the real 'crap' we all see posted here from time to time. And if you have been following this whole discussion, their are a couple fellow posters who for whatever reason were in some degree of agreement with Len P. and also the win/loss record as their foundation for their arguement. Well to that I say, unbelievable for someone to post this crap. is it seriously needed brother? My whole point is, if you ONLY look at the win/loss record, yes its dissappointing, but you have to look at the Big picture overall to judge Gibbs second term. And if you truly look at that way, theres no way in hell you can agree with fat lenny.

LOL I liked this line from that article:

Re: Len Pastabelly on Gibbs' Retirement: "Just An Ordinary Joe"

Looks like Pastabelly is pissed again. Now he's mad at Falcon's GM Tom Dimitroff for leaking the news about their new HC to his colleague Mike Smith.

Here it is straight from PFT:

Quote:
RUMBLE BREWING IN BRISTOL?
Posted by Mike Florio on January 24, 2008, 12:24 p.m.
A league source pointed out to us the catty comments of ESPN.com’s Len Pasquarelli regarding the fact that Len’s colleague, Michael Smith, broke the story that Mike Smith would be the next coach of the Falcons.

In critiquing the hiring of Mike Smith, Pasquarelli takes a jab at Falcons G.M. Tom Dimitroff for leaking the news to Michael Smith. (In hindsight, I probably should have assigned this one to our own Michael David Smith.)

“Perhaps the only failure of Dimitroff in the process was allowing word of his choice to leak out,” Len writes. “Michael Smith of ESPN knew who the new coach was going to be long before Mike Smith the new head coach did. But, hey, that was a win for the home team in Bristol, and we’ll take it.”

Our source described the comment as “childish.”

“He’s criticizing Dimitroff leaking the info to ESPN’s Smith,” the source said. “It sounds like sour grapes. Isn’t that how [Pasquarelli] survives? I think he’s jealous that Smith broke the story and he, based in Atlanta, didn’t.”

We agree. ESPN would have nothing to slap on the scroll as something that “Len Pasquarelli reports” if news only flowed from releases and press conferences. If people don’t allow things to “leak out,” there will be no cutting edge for ESPN or CBS or FOX or NBC or PFT or BFD to try to ride.

And isn’t it the goal of journalists to know things before as many people as possible? Instead of chastising Dimitroff for having loose lips (and thus potentially harming the ability of Smith or anyone from ESPN to get pry information from Dimitroff in the future), shouldn’t Pasquarelli be praising Smith?
