Re: Any New Music Selections?
So far this summer I've been to Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, Dave Matthews, and Kings of Leon. That should be it for a while, got tix for the Black Crowes in Oct.

You see the story online about Kings of Leon getting sh*t on by all those pigeons in St. Louis the other day during their show? Pretty f*ing funny

Re: Any New Music Selections?
Just saw String Cheese Incident at Red Rocks. I had never heard them before, but it was a good show at a great venue. Perfect weather, full moon.
I was also just introduced to Toubab Krewe and I'm digging it. Jammy rock with a nice African influence. Couple of drummers, guitarists, and a guy who plays a harp made out of a gourd.

Re: Any New Music Selections?
No love for Thickfreakness? That's my favorite, and probably Chulahoma in second.

Re: Any New Music Selections?
No, much love to both those. Thickfreakness got me into them back in the day, but I have spun that album soooo freakin much. Chulahoma is very solid, the second song, Have Mercy on Me, is one of the best guitar tracks of all time. Dan's solo is so freakin evil, that slow blues on that high chord sounds demonic...its rad and I definitly turn the sound up to eleven when that track plays

Re: Any New Music Selections?
Agree...like to throw Shoreline and Deer Creek on that list, but the sheer beauty of a venue, from what I've heard Red Rocks and the Gorge are tops. For an indoor show, Radio City Music Hall would be cool. Missed CBGBs...but have been to MSG, great sound in there.

Re: Any New Music Selections?
hoping to see the Black Crowes this fall. looks like full 90 minute acoustic set followed by full 90 min electric set. should be killer.
i've never been to Red Rocks but my old band did play at CBGB's....

Re: Any New Music Selections?
Yeah it's going to be great. I've got the VIP package, 2nd row tix, pre-party and post-party. Hoping some of the band might stop in.
