I just feel for JC17...i like him so much and truly hope he takes his new offense by storm. I'll be a fan of whatever team he lands.

I think we would have a hell of a draft if we traded up got sanchez, traded campbell to the jets for there 2nd rounder(52) allowing them to get their QB and still get there WR in the draft. And then maybe we luck up and snatch mack with that pick? How would you huys feel about that scenario?

If that happened and we resigned Marcus and one of our young DE's stepped up, that would be the best case scenario if we do draft Sanchez IMO. The problem is Mack will be gone by #52 and we may end up with very few picks if we have to trade up for Sanchez. If this were to happen, drafting an o-lineman or someone like Sidbury at #52 would certainly help but I think that would be all the help we would get. I wouldn't think Sanchez would be available at #13 and it will cost most of our picks to trade up.

I think the Jets, Vikings, Bucs, and Seahawks are all potential destinations. I doubt they'll give up more than a 3rd (maybe a 2nd, but we might have to toss in a late round pick for that). I think the Bucs (and Doug Williams) want him the most, but they don't have the ammo to do it without a third team. Jets could be interesting because we know they want a QB and they know we don't want ours.

Really tough to say right now. So much going on.

True I heard the same about the bucs being intrested, but why would there have to be a third team? Couldnt they just trade us a pick straight up for him?

They have no 2nd rouner, and their 3rd rounder is after ours, which we don't want.

Good points. I think we're trying to get a 2nd/3rd in 2009 though.

I Iwould trade up our 13 and next years 2nd that we would get from TB (Campbell), to the jags at 8, and be satisfied with having 2 3rd round picks left in the third. But who the hell knows now that everyone "wants" sanchez...lol( they really want the farm they know danny will give for him)

I actually believe this.

However, I'd prefer Campbell, even over Colt.

Why do we have to rebuild every year. Can we have the same QB for more than two years ever. Somebody please tell me when is the last time we had a quaterback that started for us for more than two seasons? This is pathetic. I will bet you money that if we pick up Sanchez in two years he won't be our starting QB. This guy has bust written all over him.

What would happen if the Rams or Seahawks draft Sanchez and immediately after that happens Campbell sends word to his agent that he demands a trade to either TB or the Jets? Then what? I wonder if that has ever happened in a draft? I would call it Campbell's revenge.

Have to say this. JC didn't hit receivers down field often even when he had time to throw. He's not very mobile. Fumbles. I don't hate him, just not a fit for the Skins. We need a new QB. That's it.

Really? He's really mobile, and actually pretty fast in the open field as we saw down the stretch last year. And he basically solved the fumbling issue that plagued him in 2007. They were way down in 2008 in comparison.

...it would just be hilarious if little Danny didn't get his new toy Sanchez w/ the JC situation now being totally untenable. Jason gets traded either during or after the draft and the little man and his goofball sidekick are left to explain everything. Oh yeah...Jason goes on to have a pro-bowl season!

I'm I little surprised St. Louis hasn't shown interest in JC. Bulger's been hurt a lot right and Jason spent two years learning Saunder's offense. I guess that would seem a natural destination.
If we get beat to Sanchez like we did with Cutler it will definitely be interesting times in Washington. I bet JC just wants to get this over with, one way or another.

Pretty much having to trade Campbell, we won't get shit for him. We'll be lucky to get a 3rd.
