Uh yeah, a costly pick and a fumble return for a TD isn't a problem. But I generally agree with you JC wasn't the main problem at all, but he was a part of it.

I can tell you I doubt DS is going to do anything drastic during the season. It kills me to no end wondering why owners cut a HC mid season. What is that supposed to accomplish? Then make the new HC do what? Change the scheme? That won't happen it takes to much time to start a whole new offense. Unless you writing off the season and you know new HC's offense is better and will stick.

No Zorn is here for the season. Either he gets this fixed or he's gone.

Re: can WE now start a countdown to a new coach and qb

Seriously guys? Jason's stats were very close to Eli's. What I don't understand is, last year, the guy is super conservative, throws very few INT's, and the complaint is "Jason doesn't take chances, the dink and dunk isn't going to get it done".

Today his turnovers are held out as proof he cost us the game, but surely him holding that ball forever and a day is not because he was looking to throw a 2 yard dumpoff pass. He was looking to take a shot and waited too long. It happens.

I know everyone is tired of me pointing at Jay Cutler but homes is looking fantastic right now, with 3 picks already. Granted, Sanchez had a solid game but come on, it was the Texans

Jason didn't have a great game, to be sure. But this game was not on him. How many third and longs did we allow NY to convert in the first half? How many times did we call predictable, vanilla run plays on 1st and 2nd down? How many tackles did we totally whiff on in the secondary? And don't get me started on the ARE reverse.

I predict that the team will lose a couple more games before Zorn says "Eff it" and throws caution to the wind. Then we'll win a couple of games and surprise some people. But it will probably be too little, too late.

He would be a nice QB coach, THAT's IT!!! It's time to stop our excuses for Campbell, oh new OC, o new system, new this new that....how about he is just NOT that good!!!!!! At best we are an 8-8 team!!! If you can live with that, then you can live with Campbell and Zorn, I can't!!!!

Why was he pathetic? He did fine, shaky start, but he pulled it together. It is too bad Zorn didn't have him in shotgun the entire game or this could have been a Skin blowout.

I guess Zorn has not figured out that JC does better in the shot gun. He can see the defense better, has more time to throw, can step up into the pocket better, doesn't have to do 2 things at one time like count your back peddles/ use good foot technique/ and go through his progressions all at the same time.

Maybe they should look into keeping him in the shot gun and running a hurry up offense all season. It seemed to work at the end of the game.

JC had good stats pretty much on two drives that were in 2 minute mode at the end of each half. Take those out of the equation and he was average. Why we can't have drives like the two for TDs for more than emergencies is beyond me.

Zorn is not a very good play caller nor does he trust Campbell. Some of those trick plays were horseshit. I want to see Devin Thomas catch passes, not run reverses.

Again, Quoted for Mother F**king Truth.

Though even I have to admit the fake field goal was pretty badass. Who knew Hunter the Punter was the best tailback we had on the roster.

I swear, anyone under 50 posts should not be allowed to start a thread....actually no one should start threads the day game...just have a game thread, and after the game a positive thread and a negative thread.

Zorn is a double threat as a terrible coach. 1. He is a terrible motivator. The Redskins were not confident whatsoever and if you cant get hyped about opening week against a division rival what game are you going to get hyped over. 2. He is an absolute terrible play caller. The first play from scrimmage, everyone blocked effectively and Portis ran for 34 yards. The very next play, He called a trick WR pass with Randle EL. This gave the momentum right back to the giants and the skins never seemed to recover from that.

Zorn is a bit too laid back IMO but I think if the players need him to get them motivated for opening week vs a divisional rival then its the players that have the problem. I really now believe that the core group of players are unmotivated losers who too easily accept defeat and make excuses for not executing. I know it can never be done but I really think the Skins need a total house cleaning of a large group of players.

Yup. As long as it isn't London Fletcher, I'm cool with that.
