Colt McCoy reminds me of Heath Shuler.

Re: Your next QB for the Skins?

It's going to be a long season when we're talking draft before our 8th game. Sigh...

Hey, we need more picks as a team. There are too many holes. Anyway, we can get picks, we need them, barring doing any stupid. I'm not opposed to a QB first although we do need multiple lineman.

I guess hopefully this will be up to our new GM and coach. Hopefully, we'll have a guy that comes in and does it their way as opposed to the owners way.

Clausen looks like he can play imo. Bradford has impressed scouts but I really haven't seen much of him. He could slide due to his injury. He won't be able to do the combine, workouts, etc.

Re: Your next QB for the Skins?

just the thought of Campbell returning made me throw up in my mouth alittle. im not sure who to bring in. but i like the idea of bringing in a veteran, to give the skins time to build an NFL caliber line. because what they have here now is no where close to a real offensive line. and im not seeing the same things in Clausen that alot of you guys are. can someone explain him to me?

Bring Chase back
Brennan is off IR
Draft a guy

Still think keeping JC as a backup isn't so bad though. I think of when we drafted Shuler then Gus. Shuler sucked, and we were stuck with the guy we got for depth as the starter.

Not a bad idea, but JC won't resign w us... He probably wishes the season was over already..

Bastard has no choice or go the way of Ramsey. Nobody seemed to want him fishing him around during the Cutler/Sanchez fiasco. He will re sign if we choose to do so or his career will go in the gutter.

If we go with a college QB, Albert and Fletcher will be gone by the time we are competitive

We don't know that for sure, look at Matt Ryan and flacco last yr... Even sanchez is doing decent this yr.. Honestly until zorn and vc are gone it really doesn't matter

Re: Your next QB for the Skins?

I don't know much about Robinson, but i'm really not impressed with the QBs in next years draft. They all seem like guys who have alot of potential, but who are not really "NFL-ready." A lot can change between now and April, but there may not be a QB worth taking as high as we'll be drafting.

At this point, we're going to be rebuilding for 2-3 years so we'd be better off trading down and accumulating depth accross our roster instead of adding one spashly player at the top of the first round. From what I read, next years draft is pretty deep overall. I say we take advantage of it and accumulate as many picks in rounds 2-4 as possible.

The problem with this team is there is such a huge, dramatic drop-off between the talent level of our starters and our backups. We need start narrowing that gap.

In the NFL Tebow isn't faster than anyone on the field and those Gator gimmicks won't work in the pro either. I feel Bradford is more NFL ready than Tebow. If there was a chance of us drafting him I would jump all over it.

Being in Seattle, I figured you would have mentioned Jake Locker. I'd take him before any of the names coming out this year.

No way!!!!! He can't pass for shit! They're hyping him like he's going to be Montana special. Of course UDub has Nick Montana (son on Joe Montana) coming in next year. I watched him play 6 weeks or so ago against here against Skyline and he looked amazing (21 of 32 passes for 258 yards and three TDs).

No...it's the other way around. Nick is the starter and Trevor Gretzky is the backup. Will Smith's son is also on that team though he hardly payed when I watched the game.
