Or they keep both, as I mentioned in another post many coaches and execs are starting to prepare for an 18 game season with the mentality that you need two starting QBs. Vick and Kolb. Luck and Clausen. Campbell and Gradkowski....Smith and Ponder

Don't want to read it fine, but then don't comment on it

Sorry, the cut their losses comment was misleading. Obviously if the Panthers drafted Luck it would still be a good idea to keep around Clausen.

I looked at all of the highlights of Luck on You Tube and I just don't see what all the fanfare is for him. He throws, mostly, a Billy Kilmer ball that wobbles. I noticed that some of his deep balls have too much air under them. He has a strong arm and appears to be mobile. Does this make him the best? Does Stanford play top caliper teams?

But saying he is the best QB to come out of college in last 25 years is a stretch. Bradford is much better at what he was billed to be by the experts.

Matt Moore wants to come back to Carolina. Not sure why, he should test the market. They still have Tony Pike, who I think is way overrated. And I think they're still paying Delhomme. Carolina is QB central!

Moffitt is who I am talking about. 5th rounder? I thought he was an All American!

Stanford plays in the PAC-10, not SEC, but certainly some top "caliper" teams. Luck is the real deal and virtually all NFL analysts agree. He lit up a top college D last night for 4 TDs. Also, the last thing this guy throws is a Kilmer-ball.

But unlike us they have a Jimmy Clausen.
Since they have so many holes to fill I'd not be surprised if they draft defense #1 and go with Clausen.
I just read that if Luck enters draft Carolina will take him. Maybe a smoke screen to try to get draft picks from somebody who really wants a QB?

That's the theory every year.

Carolina will pick Luck

I particularly like the way they avoid giving away multiple draft picks for washed-up has-beens and big fat malcontents. We should try that one of these years.

I believe the Pats and Eagles have the most picks next year. Talk about the rich getting richer.

Trade McNabb, Trade Haynesworth, Trade Cooley, Trade down and then call Ozzie Newsome and ask him who to draft with our picks.
