Why do the Saints keep leaving Vernon Davis in one on one coverage?

Obviously Alex Smith has a lot of mettle. Holy smokes, what a game.

Wow. Stunned. Seriously how do they not do double coverage on VD there? He's the only pass threat the Niners have.

Gregg Williams should be fired after this game. The one guy you need to cover, and he continually left him open time and time again. (or single covered)

OMFG. The Saints two-minute mojo was outdone!!!!!!

The Tight End can no longer be considered irrelevant by ANY football fan with his or her salt(very few of those fellas left).

Everyone is asking why he would leave.. honestly I don't think that it would've been voluntary much longer

To everyone that said the niners will be one and done and Harbaugh is just a college coach, etc. WHAT DO YOU SAY NOW? That's what I thought.

Lol yup. Seriously with the Saints offense you really don't have to have an elite unit and he still failed.

He called a timeout to give Brees an extra chance. Still a little green.

What a game
Alex Smith looked frickin awesome
Who would have thought he would have led his team down the field in the closing minutes not once but twice
We need to make Fred Davis the weapon Vernon is,but of course we need a qb that can do it
Smith made some great throws right in Davis lap
