Re: Redskins - Bears gameday thread.
Not with that injury bug going around. Hell no, get all the starters out.

Re: Redskins - Bears gameday thread.
Guess we won't be hearing RGIII say that games are easier than practice this week.

Re: Redskins - Bears gameday thread.
They are playing 8 in the box and sending 6 or 7 on every play. NO time for play fakes, unless you want RG3 killed. Its time to line up in the shotgun and get them out of the 8 man box. Spread them out damn Shanny!

Re: Redskins - Bears gameday thread.
Just want to point something out here. Reports have said time and time again that RG3 is holding onto the ball to long. After 1 quarter the Bears have 3 sacks on 5 passing plays. Not saying that RG3 is going to be a bust or won't improve on this but I think it goes to show we shouldn't be so quick to dismiss warning signs.

How long of a leash do you truly give a talented guy like RG3? Do you keep him in the whole season if he is sucking and hope he improves, or do you maybe bench him if we get out of playoff contention and see if some time on the sidelines would help him? Not hating here on RG3 by any means, just hoping we do things better with him than we did with J.C., by that i mean leaving him in when he shouldn't have been starting anymore...

Re: Redskins - Bears gameday thread.
Sometimes it's about seeing what plays work and don't work and sometimes it's the coaching staff putting the players in difficult situations on purpose to see how they handle it.
Especially the defensive plays. Maybe offensively they are trying to get Paul to show something or end up cutting him since he didn't show much as a WR. |

There's going to be ups and downs this season, we are just going to have to be patient with the downs. He is a rookie after all.
