I don't really watch college football. Is Cousin's mobile? We need a mobile QB to score points consistently, and Rex can't waddle away from pressure to save his life.

yeah hes mobile enough - definitley more so than Rex, and I think that one day he is going to be a better qb than Rex - just not this Sunday.

edit: if necessary

Kirk Cousins was projected to be a 2nd round pick. How he fell to the 4th round no one knows. Mike Shanahan did the right thing in selecting him. He was too good to pass up when he was available. In conjunction with RG3's concussion, it was a wise move for the Redskins to select Cousins when they got the opportunity.

Everyone with a lick of sense felt the exact same way you do the moment Cousins was picked. It really irked me how many people in the media were criticizing the moveat the time, saying we shoudl have selected a lineman and/or suggesting that we were creating a quarterback controvery

That's because those in the media are stupid people half of the time. Mike Shanahan knows what he's doing. Rex Grossman is a journeyman quarterback who can be a decent backup, but Bruce Allen and Mike Shanahan knows that Grossman won't be around forever. Might as well draft a quarterback. Shanahan took the best one available.

That's human nature to want to talk about a situation or make a situation out to be a much bigger deal than it actually is. That's the media for you.

Man, the Redskins really need a win this weekend. To think they might beat the Giants or the Steelers on the road the next couple of weeks would be really optimistic.

If they are not careful, they are going to go back into that category of playing meaningless games for the rest of the year as early as October. I think they can beat the Panther before the Bye in Week 9, but if they loose 3 more before then, none of us will care. Come on Skins!

Fletch is a great leader. He can't give the secondary more talent.

He keeps running on an injured foot that never fully healed and therefore it stays damaged

So disappointing.

Was he injury prone at Indy? I don't remember him being.
