If Tom wanted to win another SB he'd stay in NE.. This is about the $$ , he already has 6 rings so what else does he need?

To have fun and do it somewhere else...in a spot where he is from....maybe to prove he can do it without Hoodie and Kraft

I don't understand this argument about Brady having to stay in NE. He reworked his contract with the intention of leaving the Pats. While risky, Brady in San Francisco would automatically improve their QB situation. And right now the 49ers probably have a better team on paper than New England The Chargers are a pretty loaded team (Kennan Allen, Hunter Henry, and the Gordon/Ekeler RB duo), and Brady could make them a contender. The Raiders have the resources to put a lot of weapons around Brady if they want to make a run at him as well. Hell, even the Bucs could potentially put a good team around Brady (with Mike Evans as his leading receiver).

New stadium, need to grab some attention from the Rams, his name and Chargers would be talked about ad nauseum on ESPN. He would instantly bring in more revenue through tickets, marketing and jerseys than his 30M or whatever price tag. He would pay for himself 10 times over imo. Huge 15 story high banners outside the stadium, every program and ticket and promotional material printed with his face on it. His face on buses, airports, commercials. Sell hope in the offseason. Bonus if he plays even decent during the regular season. If he plays well or the team is in the playoff hunt? Dude .. espn and others would be all over the Chargers, Chargers this, Brady that. Brady to the LA Chargers = instant cash cow ... regardless of how he does on the field. They would be the "LA Tom Bradys" ... which will sell more than the "LA Chargers formerly know as San Diego Chargers and not as good as the other option, the LA Rams" or, as they are currently called (for brevity sake), the LACFKASDCANAGATOOTLARs. Bradys going to Hollywood. Victoria Secret models in the suites with Leonardo DiCaprio and James Franco slipping them roofies when they arent looking. Its on.

Brady to LAC does make sense for the league
Also per Keim : The Redskins will be active on the Amari Cooper train.

As a Skins fan I want you part of Brady, rather have DH.

Plus his wife who wears the pants in the family, is from Brazil where the coldest winter day is 60F. After living in MD for 30 years, I lived in Boston for four years and after the third winter I had to get out. I love snow and winter, but it is really rainy, windy and cold. Not a great combination. In the winter the sunrise is 7:13am and set at 4:20pm. I used to work 7am - 4pm. It was dark when I went in to work and dark when I went home. Kind of depressing. I love Boston to visit but not to live. |

Ready to take heat for this, but the idea of Rivers and Chase Young joining the Skins sounds pretty darn good to me. Doubt Rivers comes to DC but very intriguing if this report is credible. |

Re: 3/18 @4pm NFL Free Agency & Trading Period
If I'm Rivers I'm looking at an immediate contender as I want a ring. He could view us as contenders in 2-3 years but does that fit his timeline? If the Raiders are sniffing around Brady then they are likely sounding out Rivers too, and he'd likely prefer to stay out west if he could and they seem closer to the playoffs than us.
If he came in as an immediate starter and Haskins didn't go off in a huff etc. but studied behind him and showed he was ready to take over in 2-3 then maybe I can see this, but i just don't. Besides his cap hit will be horrible and we've shown we're building young. |

I would tend to agree, pretty sure as it always has been money isn't a priority for Brady. Doesn't his wife make $50 mil a year or used to?
