TH was a nice story, but we clearly need a big upgrade. Ever since Cousins left we've been a total disaster at QB.

For sure.. I think we need to do everything we can do to upgrade the position, including trading up in the draft.

Gettleman had to go after the body of work he put together since he was hired. I wonder who they will manage to bring in as the new GM - someone who can't pick his own head coach...? Should be fun. I'm just glad that team is in our Division. Otherwise we would have probably gone 5-12.

I would bet the Texans were trending upward too. If you look at last half of season they would probably be above us. Of those teams they are the only ones I think have a QB for next year and can start working on complimentary pieces.

2 of the last 3 games they were in the top 15. Mills is solid

Are you suggesting the Jets will move on from Wilson already and that Danny Dimes will be out at the Giants?

No post game thread ? Probably not worth it anyway.
Hard to watch.

Side note, I think Darryl Roberts has been playing quite well, don't know why we didn't see more of him earlier.

He was hurt, he’s ok. I like what I saw out of Forrest in his limited snaps.

It is just my opinion of the players. I have not seen anything that suggests to me Wilson is the answer, whether that is coaching and scheme or his talent I couldn't tell you. Judge probably thinks Jones is fine but I have seen enough to tell me he will be no more than a borderline top 20 QB in the league.

Agree on the point in general, but I can't see the Jets picking a QB in the '22 draft; Saleh hasn't said anything to imply he's got no faith in Wilson. And from the little I've seen of Wilson there's nothing to say he can't improve in year 2. I mean if you're guided by stats and results alone, Lawrence was just as bad as Wilson, arguably worse.

Jones position is almost certainly tied up with Judge being in NY next season. New coach likely means they want their own QB. Maybe another reason NY don't kick Judge yet; what coach is going to go in there with no good QB prospect in the draft this year?

No argument from me. I don't think the Jets give up on Wilson or draft a QB either. That is not what I was suggesting in my original when I said the Texans are the only one with a QB for next year.

No way the Jets would move on from Wilson already. He flashed enough to keep them moving forward with him.
