I dont think we should trade Gardner just for a third...that would be stupid in my mind.

I wonder if we are looking to trade Gardner and an early '05 pick for Troupe later in the 1st round? Very happy with Taylor, our defense will be greatly improved.. Washington, Barrow, Arrington, Smoot, Springs, Taylor, whew that's something to be reckoned with..

Why is Gardner always talked about in a trade isn't Sameuls still on the block? And Trotter, man it would be nice to get at least something for him.

who was the next best rated TE in this draft? Or are we going to go with what we have? Here are some names that I have heard of Watson of Georgia, Utecht Minnesota or Scaife of Texas?

Oooooo... Roy Williams, Charles Rogers, Harrington.

Man.. if the Lions get a RB, under Mooch, they'll have a hell of an offense.

Yea they are going to have a great offense if they get a back, they might be able to get Perry early in the second round. The lions got a second round pick from the Browns

Probably Ben Troupe from Florida. There's a good chance he'll go this round too.

yea I dont know if I see us getting a first round pick, teams are giving up a ton to move up. The Lions might have taken Williams anyways.

Giant's may get rid of collin's and start eli immediatly, at least mort is saying he's hearing that.

watson is physically more talented than Winslow but his production hasen't been what it should be, that's what's keeping him out of the 1st rd. if Gibb's think's he can get that out of him we should get him, but there is a kid out of arkansas named peterson he's 6'5" 335lbs. and is a devestating blocker as a TE and run's around a 4.9 with good hand's but need's work in the passing game, could be had in the 3rd and is what I invision as a true TE/H-back for gibb's and could be moved very easily to O-tackle.

we will have to move some pick's next year but I think we have to do it, at this point i think wilfork is unrealistic but stark's or dockett and either watson or peterson that can be done.

good point... unlike past years, D-Linemen talent is falling to the mid-round instead of the top 10 it seems, so it seems logical for someone to trade down to a team wanting ben r. and still get the player they want
