I live in central PA, about 20 minutes from Hershey... was snowboarding tonight and the kids at the top of the mountain were sitting there talking about Dick Winters with awe. So cool to unexpectedly see first hand the effect he had on multiple generations. Yeah, he was one of many, but through him so much attention and respect was brought to so many nameless others... Dude was a legend in his own time. RIP.
