Great! Along with all the existing problems, now we are going to have a staff and roster of players that resent the owner (assuming they didn't already). It's a real shame that Snyder didn't listen to the public endorsements of what seemed like almost everyone in the organization for Williams. What happened to "continuity"??????????

Gibbs had no influence over Danny..

Danny's still an infantile, self-centered, egotistical, idiot jerk.....and no amount of class and integrity could change that.

With Gibbs I had all the hope in the world....even hope that Danny could learn that he doesn't know it all....I was wrong...way wrong.

What Snyder is probably saying,
"I've got a good idea....lets promote CERRATO....a guy that no one would hire to his current position.....then......lets blow up the coaching staff that stabilized our team the last 4 years.....the best team we've had since I took over.....and lets make sure we dump our offensive coordinator whos system takes 3 years to hit its stride....in year 2.

And lets dump our Defensive coordinator who helped the team through the murder of its best player just 1 month ago...

And best of all lets tell the players.

There is a positive to a whole new coaching staff. The tragedy with Taylor this past year has been tough so putting it to rest might not be the worst idea.

That, I think, is the only upside to all of this change. I knew when Sean was lost that our team was headed for major change because Sean was the centerpiece of Gregg's defense. Gregg was building his defense around Taylor and to draft/sign someone to replace him would have been regressive.

Although I don't want to see it go maybe it's for the best.

The man's record speaks for itself. I will always be a Redskins fan, but let's be honest, since the Cardinals moved to the NFC West, Dan Snyder has been the Bill Bidwill of the NFC East, only with deeper pockets.

The only thing I am worried about right now is giving some ridiculously high draft pick to get an assistant coach who might not stick around for very long. Everything else looks very reasonable now that I've thought about it. Williams and Cerrato don't get along so that just wasn't going to work. They are not bringing in some flashy college coach or a flavor of the month 34 year old coordinator. They are bringing in a General with some quality experience. It could work out just fine.
