The RG3 Sucks - Knee Jerk Reaction Thread
I think it was NC that posted a breakdown of him during a play against the Ravens in preseason. The one where Reed was running wide open down the middle of the field, and he for some reason checked down to Helu or Morris? Garcon was never even looked at. He had a perfect pocket and all the time in the world. It was a real eye opener and I remember thinking, eh it is preseason maybe im making more out of it than need be. Ive thought about that play several times this year.

Re: The RG3 Sucks - Knee Jerk Reaction Thread
Knee Jerk Reaction? Bro, he's a 2nd over all pick making basic mistakes. After hearing what Gruden had to say he's actually worse than I thought. The guy is garbage and the window is almost closed on his career.
No tears here. Can't do epic shit with basic people (Snyder, Allen, Gruden, Haslett, et al). |
Re: The RG3 Sucks - Knee Jerk Reaction Thread
Robert was asked about Jay's remarks to the media after the game. In a presser this morning, Robert responded with "Jay wants me to play better, I want to play better. We're focused on the niners.....next question"
Can't do better than that |
Re: The RG3 Sucks - Knee Jerk Reaction Thread
I wish we, as a fan base, could give RG3 our full support for the next 6 games.
Yes, the TB game was epically bad but he should start every game going forward (barring an all out locker room revolt). I saw a video of this old fat skins fans with a red mohawk screaming, spitting and booing at the skins players as they left the field on Sunday. He was probably 5 feet away from the players as they entered the tunnel. fucking repugnant. i wanted to reach through the tv screen and beat the skit out of that a-hole. this RG3 fan hate needs to measured and scaled back. this fan hate of the entire team needs to be scaled back. the players are trying. RG3 is trying. |
Re: The RG3 Sucks - Knee Jerk Reaction Thread
So what happened his first year? Did the read-option fool people so bad that he only had to hit one read? That's the part that makes me sad. I thought no one can fake setting NFL rookie records for accuracy, but he just might have.

Re: The RG3 Sucks - Knee Jerk Reaction Thread
Two things have to happen, if I am Gruden. First I am having a one-on-one meeting with RG and ask him WTF is going on? Show him in a room with Sean McVay and me, we watch the tape like his brother does on TV with incoming prospects and find out the real problem. This is a extreme regression. Second I having a group meetings with RG and O-line, RG and the WR/TE and let them communicate about trust. Why is there no trust?

Re: The RG3 Sucks - Knee Jerk Reaction Thread
It was one game.
His quotes today were flawless and I'm hoping he continues with that because it'll be easier for him to focus on winning. Im going to support RG3 as or QB because im a fan and want him to win. |

He is broken physically and mentally. Teams don't really give a shit about him running the ball and that has hurt him in so many ways. He's panicky and you can't be that in pro football. |
Re: The RG3 Sucks - Knee Jerk Reaction Thread
It's a little odd how one of the biggest mantras I've heard on this board and from Redskins Nation as a whole over the last few years is that our offensive line is bad and needs to be improved, but now suddenly, it's all on Griffin and he's the reason the line looks bad. Yeah, he does make the line look worse(that's a part of the game for any QB like Griffin), but it sucks with or without him. If the line doesn't get better, Griffin will never improve and any other QB we draft will go through the same thing.

Re: The RG3 Sucks - Knee Jerk Reaction Thread
IMO It's a lack of trust on the team as a whole, they don't trust the man next to them to do their job. How do you coach trust?

In 2012 when he was hurt, KC came in and ran the real Shanahan offense. Why? Why didn't they let Griffin run that offense? They were both rookies at the time. It was all pistol and read option. I think we now know why. They knew he couldn't run it so they designed an offense for him and it worked. |
